According to the Daily Mail, DeGeneres' 43-hectare, multi-million dollar estate was inundated by the floods.

"The floodwaters are rising by the hour. This is the worst I have seen in years," said one resident.

Local residents say everything is one meter under water.

The house is a six-bedroom, four-bathroom farmhouse that has been converted into a modern luxury home.

The incident occurred after DeGeneres moved to the UK and said she would "never return" to the US following Trump's election victory, according to The Wrap.
