Ukraine Claims Another Cyberattack Underway - State Websites and Banks Hit (reports)
The websites of Ukraine's govt, foreign ministry and state security service were reportedly down Wednesday. (Reuters)
"At about 4pm, another mass DDoS attack on our state began. We have relevant data from a number of banks," the Minister of Digital Transformation said, adding that the parliament website was also hit.
The servers of Ukraine's defence ministry and two banks were overwhelmed last week in a separate cyberattack. Kiev called the outages "the largest DDoS attack in the history of Ukraine.” US company Netscout later said the impact had been modest.
