🌟 On Friday, 19th December, The New Generation Debate Club has held a training session where as in this session, we’ve dived into different types of debate motions such as policies, values, and actor motions and how each type affects the way the members are able to build their arguments. We also practiced breaking down motions and structuring arguments in a clear way using the PEEL format.
📊 There were also fun exercises, where new members got to try building arguments on the spot for sample motions, which really helped everyone see how theory turns into practice.
💡 The executive boards report that, this session is a success! And are impressed by the performances of our members in identifying and partaking engagements in today’s session. We look forward to their growth!
