🔶सम्मेलन (Conferences)

सम्मेलन एक औपचारिक बैठक को संदर्भित करता है, जहाँ प्रतिभागी विभिन्न विषयों पर सूचनाओं एवं विचारों का आदान-प्रदान करते हैं। इसके द्वारा सदस्य या प्रतिभागी अपनी व्यक्तिगत एवं सामूहिक समस्याओं पर विचार करते हैं।
यह एक प्रकार के बड़े समूह की सभा होती है, जहाँ सदस्य आपस में विचारों का आदान-प्रदान एवं अपने ज्ञान का संग्रहण करते हैं। प्रतिभागियों (Participants) के समूह द्वारा सम्मेलन के उद्देश्य व कार्यप्रणाली को समूह के वरिष्ठ व्यक्ति या नेता द्वारा स्पष्ट किया जाता है। उच्च शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में अधिगम के लिये एक महत्त्वपूर्ण विधि है। शोधकर्त्ता (अनुसंधानकर्त्ता) इसके द्वारा अनुसंधान के क्षेत्र में संज्ञानात्मक (ज्ञानात्मक) एवं भावनात्मक उद्देश्यों की प्राप्ति करता है। सम्मेलन के द्वारा विचारों और मुद्दों की व्यापक रेंज को संभव बनाया जा सकता है।

▪️सम्मेलन के प्रकार (Type of Conferences)
सम्मेलन के तीन प्रकार होते हैं

• क्षेत्रीय सम्मेलन (Regional Conference ) : क्षेत्रीय समस्याओं के संदर्भ में सम्मेलन का आयोजन।
• राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन (National Conference): राष्ट्र संबंधी विषयों, जैसे- धार्मिक, सामाजिक, शैक्षिक आदि पर सम्मेलन का आयोजन।
• समान विचारधारा वाले लोगों से मिलने व बातचीत करने का अवसर मिलता है।
• संयम, धैर्य, कार्य कुशलता तथा सहनशीलता जैसे गुणों का विकास होता है।
• अनुसंधान संबंधी समस्याओं के प्रत्येक पक्ष का स्पष्ट निरूपण होता है।
• सहयोगात्मक भावना द्वारा समस्या समाधान की क्षमताओं का विकास होता है।
