मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक यूजीसी नए और विशेष पदों को बनाने की भी योजना बना रहा है. इसके तहत शिक्षकों को पढ़ाने के लिए पीएचडी की आवश्यकता नहीं होगी. यूजीसी की तरफ से यह फैसला इसलिए गया है, ताकि टीचिंग फील्ड में एक्सपर्ट छात्रों के साथ अपना नॉलेज शेयर कर सकें.

नई दिल्ली. प्रोफेसर बनने के लिए सोच रहे युवाओं के लिए बड़ी खबर है. देश के केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालयों में पढ़ाने के लिए अब पीएचडी की आवश्यकता नहीं होगी. यूजीसी ने केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालयों में पढ़ाने के लिए अब पीएचडी की अनिवार्यता को खत्म करने का निर्णय लिया है. आयोग के इस फैसले के बाद, उन तमाम अभ्यर्थियों को मौका मिल सकेगा, जो टीचिंग फील्ड में बेहतर अनुभव रखते हैं, लेकिन सिर्फ डिग्री नहीं होने के चलते वे यूनिवर्सिटी में पढ़ा नहीं सकते.

यूजीसी केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालयों के लिए भर्ती मानदंडों में सुधार के उद्देश्य से सरकार इस फील्ड के प्रोफेशनल्स और इंड्रस्टी एक्सपर्ट की नियुक्ति के लिए 'प्रोफेसर और एसोसिएट प्रोफेसर ऑफ प्रैक्टिस' के रूप में नियुक्ति के लिए एक प्रावधान लाने पर विचार कर रही है.
