GSET પરીક્ષાની તારીખ પહેલાથી નક્કી જ છે, જે લોકો સંશોધન અને તાલીમ સહાયક પરીક્ષા આપે છે એ તમામ બે વિષયમાં અનુસ્નાતક છે બની શકે છે એ જ મિત્રો GSET ની પરીક્ષા પણ આપતા જ હોય.
આપ સાહેબ શ્રી ને જણાવવાનું કે આ બાબતે યોગ્ય તપાસ કરી સંશોધન અને તાલીમ સહાયક પરીક્ષાની પ્રાથમિક પરીક્ષાની તારીખ ને અન્ય કોઈ તારીખ ઉપર ખસેડવામાં આવે જેથી કરીને ઉમેદવારોને અન્યાય ન થાય.

*શિક્ષણ મંત્રાલય સહાયક પ્રોફેસરો માટે UGC NET/SET ફરજિયાત બનાવવાનું વિચારે છે*
શિક્ષણ મંત્રાલય કોલેજો અને યુનિવર્સિટીઓમાં મદદનીશ પ્રોફેસરોની નિમણૂક માટે ફરજિયાત લાયકાત તરીકે UGC NET (નેશનલ એલિજિબિલિટી ટેસ્ટ) અને/અથવા SET (સ્ટેટ એલિજિબિલિટી ટેસ્ટ)ને પુનઃસ્થાપિત કરવાના પ્રસ્તાવ પર વિચારણા કરી રહ્યું છે.
પીએચડીની ગુણવત્તા અને અધિકૃતતા અંગેની ચિંતા વચ્ચે આ પગલું આવ્યું છે. ડિગ્રીઓ, ખાસ કરીને ખાનગી યુનિવર્સિટીઓ દ્વારા એનાયત કરાયેલ.
અહેવાલો દર્શાવે છે કે ઘણી ખાનગી સંસ્થાઓએ ગૌણ અથવા બનાવટી ડોક્ટરલ ડિગ્રીઓ જારી કરીને શૈક્ષણિક અખંડિતતા સાથે ચેડા કર્યા છે. મંત્રાલયના એક અધિકારીએ જણાવ્યું, “Ph.D. અમુક ખાનગી યુનિવર્સિટીઓની લાયકાત હવે શૈક્ષણિક કઠોરતાને સુનિશ્ચિત કરતી નથી. બીજી તરફ NET અને SET, શૈક્ષણિક અને અધ્યાપન ક્ષમતાના વધુ ભરોસાપાત્ર સૂચકો સાબિત થયા છે.”
અગાઉ, પીએચ.ડી. ધરાવતા ઉમેદવારો. NET/SET જરૂરિયાતને બાયપાસ કરી શકે છે, પરંતુ મંત્રાલય હવે આ પ્રમાણિત પરીક્ષણોને પ્રાધાન્ય આપતા નવા માર્ગદર્શિકાનો મુસદ્દો તૈયાર કરવા માટે હિતધારકોની સલાહ લઈ રહ્યું છે. દરખાસ્તનો હેતુ ભરતી પ્રક્રિયામાં વિશ્વાસ પુનઃસ્થાપિત કરવાનો અને ઉચ્ચ શિક્ષણમાં ઉચ્ચ શૈક્ષણિક ધોરણો જાળવવાનો છે.
શિક્ષણશાસ્ત્રીઓએ દરખાસ્તની પ્રશંસા કરી છે, ભારપૂર્વક જણાવ્યું છે કે તે મેરિટ-આધારિત ભરતી અને સમાન ધોરણોને સુનિશ્ચિત કરશે. જો કે, કેટલાક નિષ્ણાતોએ વિવિધ શૈક્ષણિક પૃષ્ઠભૂમિને સમાવવા માટે સંતુલિત અભિગમ સૂચવ્યો છે.
મંત્રાલય તરફથી ટૂંક સમયમાં સત્તાવાર જાહેરાત અપેક્ષિત છે, જે ભારતની ઉચ્ચ શિક્ષણની ભરતી નીતિઓમાં સંભવિત ફેરફારને ચિહ્નિત કરે છે.
