1. Kaziranga becomes India’s first national park with satellite phones
Kaziranga National Park in Assam has become the first national park in India to be equipped with satellite phones. Assam Chief Secretary Jishnu Barua handed over 10 satellite phones to the forest personnel of the Kaziranga National Park. The satellite phones will boost the anti-poaching measures in the park. BSNL will be the service provider of these phones.

2. India’s first Drone Forensic Lab comes up in Kerala
India’s first Drone Forensic Lab and Research Center has come up in Kerala. The Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan was inaugurating the State police department’s ‘Drone Forensic Laboratory’ at the Kerala State Police CyberDome. Cyberdome is a technological research and development centre of the Kerala Police Department.

3. India’s first Cattle Genomic Chip “IndiGau” released by Jitendra Singh
Dr Jitendra Singh has released India’s first cattle genomic chip ‘IndiGau’ for the conservation of pure varieties of indigenous cattle breeds like, Gir, Kankrej, Sahiwal, Ongole etc. The chip has been developed by scientists of National Institute of Animal Biotechnology, Hyderabad, an autonomous institution under the aegis of the Department of Biotechnology.

4. Ministry of Social Justice launches an e-study platform “TAPAS”
Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment has launched an online portal named TAPAS (Training for Augmenting Productivity and Services) to provide filmed lectures/courses and e-study material in the field of social defence. TAPAS is the initiative of the National Institute of Social Defence, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. The course can be taken up by anyone and is free of cost.

5. Indian Bank signs MoU with Paralympic Committee
Public sector Indian Bank has signed an MoU with the Paralympic Committee of India as one of the banking partners of the Paralympic Games scheduled to commence from August 24 in Tokyo, Japan.

6. Indian Navy, IDFC FIRST bank bring ‘Honour FIRST’ banking solutions
The Indian Navy has inked a Memorandum of Understanding with the Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC) First Bank to initiate ‘Honour FIRST’. ‘Honour FIRST’ is a premium banking solution for serving personnel and veterans of the Indian Navy.

7. PM Modi sets India’s target to become ‘energy independent’ by 2047
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set the target of becoming an ‘energy independent country by the year 2047, the year when India will celebrate the 100th year of Independence. For this, PM has announced a ‘Mission Circular Economy’ that will replace petroleum with other forms of energy to make India achieve self-reliance in energy production by 2047.

8. WHO forms Advisory Group named “SAGO”
World Health Organization (WHO) has created a new advisory group named, The International Scientific Advisory Group for Origins of Novel Pathogens, or SAGO. The function of SAGO will be to systematically study the emergence of future emerging pathogens with pandemic potential, and advise the development in this regard to WHO.

9. Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs launches brand and logo for urban SHG products ‘SonChiraiya’
Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs has launched ‘SonChiraiya’, a brand and logo for marketing of the urban Self-Help Group (SHG) products. To make urban SHG products popular, the ministry has signed MoUs with e-Commerce Portals like Amazon and Flipkart, with an underlying narrative of women empowerment.

10. Former India defender Chinmoy Chatterjee passes away
Eminent India-international footballer Chinmoy Chatterjee, who played for the three Maidan heavyweights in his prime in the 1970-80s, has passed away. He was a member of the Indian team at the 1978 Bangkok Asian Games where they finished fourth in the quarterfinal league.

1. काजीरंगा बना सैटेलाइट फोन वाला भारत का पहला राष्ट्रीय उद्यान
असम में काजीरंगा नेशनल पार्क सैटेलाइट फोन से लैस होने वाला भारत का पहला राष्ट्रीय उद्यान बन गया है। असम के मुख्य सचिव जिश्नु बरुआ ने 10 सैटेलाइट फोन काजीरंगा राष्ट्रीय उद्यान के वन कर्मियों को सौंप दिए हैं। सैटेलाइट फोन पार्क में अवैध शिकार विरोधी उपायों को बढ़ावा देंगे। BSNL इन फोनों का सेवा प्रदाता होगा।

2. केरल में शुरू हुई भारत की पहली ड्रोन फोरेंसिक लैब
भारत का पहला ड्रोन फोरेंसिक लैब एंड रिसर्च सेंटर केरल में स्थापित किया गया है। केरल के मुख्यमंत्री, पिनाराई विजयन ने केरल राज्य पुलिस साइबरडोम में राज्य पुलिस विभाग की 'ड्रोन फोरेंसिक प्रयोगशाला' का उद्घाटन किया। साइबरडोम केरल पुलिस विभाग का एक तकनीकी अनुसंधान एवं विकास केंद्र है।

3. जितेंद्र सिंह ने जारी की भारत की पहली मवेशी जीनोमिक चिप "इंडीगउ"
डॉ जितेंद्र सिंह ने गिर, कांकरेज, साहीवाल, ओंगोल आदि मवेशियों की देशी नस्लों की शुद्ध किस्मों के संरक्षण के लिए भारत की पहली मवेशी जीनोमिक चिप 'इंडीगउ (IndiGau)' जारी की है। चिप को राष्ट्रीय पशु जैव प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान के वैज्ञानिकों द्वारा विकसित किया गया है। जो कि हैदराबाद में जैव प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग के तत्वावधान में एक स्वायत्त संस्थान है।

4. सामाजिक न्याय मंत्रालय ने लॉन्च किया ई-अध्ययन मंच "TAPAS"
सामाजिक न्याय और अधिकारिता मंत्रालय ने सामाजिक रक्षा के क्षेत्र में फिल्माए गए व्याख्यान/पाठ्यक्रम और ई-अध्ययन सामग्री प्रदान करने के लिए TAPAS (प्रशिक्षण उत्पादकता और सेवाओं के लिए प्रशिक्षण) नामक एक ऑनलाइन पोर्टल लॉन्च किया है। TAPAS सामाजिक न्याय और अधिकारिता मंत्रालय के राष्ट्रीय सामाजिक रक्षा संस्थान की पहल है। यह कोर्स कोई भी कर सकता है और यह मुफ़्त है।

5. इंडियन बैंक ने पैरालंपिक समिति के साथ समझौता ज्ञापन पर किए हस्ताक्षर
सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के इंडियन बैंक ने 24 अगस्त से जापान के टोक्यो में शुरू होने वाले पैरालंपिक खेलों के बैंकिंग भागीदारों में से एक के रूप में भारत की पैरालंपिक समिति के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। बैंक, PCI के साथ अपने साल भर के सहयोग के माध्यम से, पैरालंपिक एथलीटों को वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करेगा। भारत की पैरालंपिक समिति की अध्यक्ष दीपा मलिक हैं।

6. भारतीय नौसेना ने ‘Honour FIRST’ शुरू करने के लिए IDFC फर्स्ट बैंक के साथ समझौता ज्ञापन पर किए हस्ताक्षर
भारतीय नौसेना ने ‘Honour FIRST’ शुरू करने के लिए इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर डेवलपमेंट फाइनेंस कंपनी (IDFC) फर्स्ट बैंक के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। 'ऑनर फर्स्ट' भारतीय नौसेना के सेवारत कर्मियों और पूर्व सैनिकों के लिए एक प्रीमियम बैंकिंग समाधान है। विशेष रूप से सशस्त्र बलों और उसके दिग्गजों की जरूरतों को ध्यान में रखते हुए, ऑनर फर्स्ट डिफेंस अकाउंट को रक्षा दिग्गजों की एक समर्पित टीम द्वारा डिज़ाइन किया गया है।

7. पीएम मोदी ने 2047 तक भारत को 'ऊर्जा स्वतंत्र' बनने का लक्ष्य रखा
प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने वर्ष 2047 तक 'ऊर्जा स्वतंत्र देश बनने का लक्ष्य रखा है, जिस वर्ष भारत स्वतंत्रता के 100 वें वर्ष का जश्न मनाएगा। इसके लिए पीएम ने एक 'मिशन सर्कुलर इकोनॉमी' की घोषणा की है जो 2047 तक भारत को ऊर्जा उत्पादन में आत्मनिर्भर बनाने के लिए पेट्रोलियम को ऊर्जा के अन्य रूपों से बदल देगी।

8. WHO ने किया "SAGO" नामक सलाहकार समूह का गठन
विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन ने नोवल रोगजनकों की उत्पत्ति के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय वैज्ञानिक सलाहकार समूह या सागो नामक एक नया सलाहकार समूह का गठन किया है। सागो का कार्य व्यवस्थित रूप से महामारी क्षमता के साथ भविष्य के उभरते रोगजनकों के उद्भव का अध्ययन करना होगा, और इस संबंध में विकास को सलाह देना होगा।

9. MoHUA ने शहरी SHG उत्पादों के लिए लॉन्च किया ब्रांड और लोगो 'सोन चिरैया'
आवास एवं शहरी मामलों के मंत्रालय ने शहरी स्वयं सहायता समूह उत्पादों के विपणन के लिए एक ब्रांड और लोगो 'सोन चिरैया' लॉन्च किया है। शहरी एसएचजी उत्पादों को लोकप्रिय बनाने के लिए मंत्रालय ने एमेजॉन और फ्लिपकार्ट जैसे ई-कॉमर्स पोर्टलों के साथ समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं, जिसमें महिला सशक्तिकरण अंतर्निहित है।

10. भारत के पूर्व डिफेंडर चिन्मय चटर्जी का निधन
प्रख्यात भारत-अंतर्राष्ट्रीय फुटबॉलर चिन्मय चटर्जी, जिन्होंने 1970-80 के दशक में अपने प्रमुख समय में तीन मैदान हैवीवेट के लिए खेला था, का निधन हो गया है। वह 1978 के बैंकाक एशियाई खेलों में भारतीय टीम के सदस्य थे, जहां वे क्वार्टर फाइनल लीग में चौथे स्थान पर रहे थे।

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced a Rs 100 lakh crore Pradhan Mantri Gatishakti scheme while addressing the nation on the 75th Independence Day. Gati Shakti will be a national infrastructure master plan for our country that will lay the foundation of holistic infrastructure and will lead to an integrated and holistic pathway to our economy.

3. Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel announces 4 new districts
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has announced the creation of four new districts and 18 new tehsils in the state. The four new districts are: Mohla Manpur, Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, Shakti, Manendragarh. With the creation of four new districts, the total number of administrative districts in the state have reached 32.

4. Venkaiah Naidu laid foundation stone of Innovation and Development Centre
The Vice President of India, M Venkaiah Naidu laid the foundation stone of the Innovation and Development Centre of Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, Bengaluru. The JNCASR Innovation and Development Centre will be developed into a facility where laboratory inventions will be taken forward for scale-up and technology transfer, and in turn help in meeting the missions of “Make in India” and “Aatmanirbhar Bharat”.

HDFC Bank has announced the introduction of ‘Green & Sustainable Deposits’ to safeguard the environment from climate change. These fixed deposits will be directed towards financing green and sustainable housing credit solutions and services.

7. RBI cancels license of Raigad based Karnala Nagari Sahakari Bank
The Reserve Bank of India has cancelled the license of Raigad based Karnala Nagari Sahakari Bank Limited in Maharashtra. As informed by the Reserve Bank of India, the license of Karnala Nagari Sahakari Bank was cancelled due to insufficient capital and earning prospects and its continuance would have adversely affected depositors.

8. RBI imposes ₹1 crore penalty on Cooperatieve Rabobank U.A
RBI imposed a monetary penalty of ₹1 crore on Cooperatieve Rabobank UA. Its Mumbai Branch is a part of the Netherlands-based Rabobank Group. The penalty has been imposed for contravention of certain provisions of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 and directions related to ‘transfer to reserve funds’.

9. Hockey star Vandana Katariya made U’khand Women & Child Development ambassador
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced that Indian women’s hockey team player Vandana Katariya will be the brand ambassador of the state’s Department of Women Empowerment and Child Development.

1. एम्स दिल्ली परिसर के अंदर फायर स्टेशन रखने वाला पहला भारतीय अस्पताल बना
अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान, नई दिल्ली किसी भी आपात स्थिति से निपटने के लिए अस्पताल परिसर के अंदर एक फायर स्टेशन रखने वाला भारत का पहला अस्पताल बन गया है। इसके लिए एम्स ने दिल्ली फायर सर्विस के साथ गठजोड़ किया है।

2. सरकार ने की 'प्रधानमंत्री गतिशक्ति योजना' घोषणा की
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 75वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर लाल किले से देश को संबोधित करते हुए 100 लाख करोड़ रुपये की प्रधानमंत्री गतिशक्ति योजना (Pradhan Mantri Gatishakti) की घोषणा की है। गति शक्ति हमारे देश के लिए एक राष्ट्रीय बुनियादी ढांचा मास्टर प्लान होगा जो समग्र बुनियादी ढांचे की नींव रखेगा और हमारी अर्थव्यवस्था के लिए एक एकीकृत और समग्र मार्ग का नेतृत्व करेगा।

छत्तीसगढ़ के मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने राज्य में चार नए जिले और 18 नई तहसीलें बनाने की घोषणा की है. चार नए जिले हैं: मोहला मानपुर, सारंगढ़-बिलाईगढ़, शक्ति, मनेंद्रगढ़। चार नए जिले बनने के साथ ही राज्य में प्रशासनिक जिलों की कुल संख्या 32 हो गई है।

6. HDFC ने 'ग्रीन एंड सस्टेनेबल' सावधि जमा का अनावरण किया

आरबीआई ने सहकारी राबोबैंक यूए पर ₹1 करोड़ का मौद्रिक जुर्माना लगाया। इसकी मुंबई शाखा नीदरलैंड स्थित राबोबैंक समूह का एक हिस्सा है। बैंकिंग विनियमन अधिनियम, 1949 के कुछ प्रावधानों और 'आरक्षित निधियों के हस्तांतरण' से संबंधित निर्देशों के उल्लंघन के लिए जुर्माना लगाया गया है।

9. हॉकी स्टार वंदना कटारिया बनीं उत्तराखंड महिला एवं बाल विकास की एंबेसडर

पुणे, महाराष्ट्र के 20 वर्षीय शतरंज खिलाड़ी हर्षित राजा शतरंज में भारत के 69वें ग्रैंडमास्टर बन गए हैं। विश्व शतरंज संगठन FIDE द्वारा शतरंज खिलाड़ियों को ग्रैंडमास्टर की उपाधि से सम्मानित किया जाता है और यह सर्वोच्च खिताब है जिसे एक शतरंज खिलाड़ी प्राप्त कर सकता है।
