⛔ The first International Coastal Cleanup Day was observed in 1986. The purpose of this day is to create awareness among the people about the accumulation and negative effects of waste in the seas and coasts.

➡️ हाल ही में भारत और मालदीव के बीच विदेशी व्यापार को बढ़ावा देने के लिए पहली बार सीधी कार्गो फेरी सेवा की शुरूआत की गई है।

➡️ कार्गो फेरी सेवा भारत के तूतीकोरिन और कोचीन बंदरगाहों को मालदीव के कुलधुहुफुशी और माले बंदरगाहों के साथ जोड़ेगी।

➡️ इस पहल से लागतों में कटौती करने व परिवहन में लगने वाले समय को कम करने में मददगार होगी।

➡️ इन बंदरगाहों को जोड़ने के लिए शिपिंग कॉर्पोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (SCI) द्वारा संचालित कार्गो फेरी वेसेल MCP लिंज़ का उपयोग किया जाएगा।
