📌 रेगिस्तानी टिड्डी 🔰
रेगिस्तानी टिड्डियों को दुनिया के सभी प्रवासी कीट प्रजातियों में सबसे खतरनाक माना जाता है। इससे लोगों की आजीविका, खाद्य सुरक्षा, पर्यावरण और आर्थिक विकास पर खतरा उत्पन्न होता है।
ये व्यवहार बदलने की अपनी क्षमता में अपनी प्रजाति के अन्य कीड़ों से अलग होते हैं और लंबी दूरी तक पलायन करने के लिये बड़े-बड़े झुंडों का निर्माण करते हैं।
सामान्य तौर पर ये प्रतिदिन 150 किलोमीटर तक उड़ सकते हैं। साथ ही 40-80 मिलियन टिड्डियाँ 1 वर्ग किलोमीटर के क्षेत्र में समायोजित हो सकती हैं।
एक अकेली रेगिस्तानी मादा टिड्डी 90-80 दिन के जीवन चक्र के दौरान 60-80 अंडे देती है।
