NEET SS 2024 Update: Letter to DGHS, Delhi.

DMER Requested DGHS to suit Round 2 schedule and allow TN State In service Candidates for Upgradation.

Note: If they allows then it will be a huge loss to MCC Round 2 Candidates.
They requested to withdraw Inservice seats from MCC (which was added in MCC R2 ) and allow TN state In service candidates for upgradation.

If any seats are vacant then those seats will be added in R3 of MCC.

Important note on NEET-SS 2024 Round 2 update:
Choice locking for MCC Round 2 has not yet been started.
Mostly MCC are planning to extend the Round 2 last date. But there is no official update on Further extention.

So it's better to fill your choices till 11:55 pm( tonight).

Note: MCC choices are autolock.

In case of extention MCC will update it through a notice.

As per old schedule Round 2 choice entry was supposed to get closed on 8th June, 2025 11:55 PM (Midnight), but choice entry is still working. That means MCC has extended the last date for Round 2.

Old Notice( For reference):
NEET SS 2023 Round 3 eligibility due to INI-SS Allotment.

🔹Candidates who joined seat in R1 or R2 of MCC were allowed to upgrade in R3.

🔹Candidates who joined seat in R1 or R2 of MCC were not allowed to resign their seat.

Note: This rule will not be considered as of now. There might be some change in Rule of upgradation( which will be notified later by MCC).

Important Note on NEET-SS Round 2 :

Candidates who didnot get Upgraded any seat from Round 1 to Round 2 need not to report again. They just need to infirm the Nodal officer of the institute and ask for the joining formalities and Joing dates.

Candidates who got freshly allotted a seat in Round .
-They just need to wait for the official allotment letter( can download from MCC website after login.
And report in person to the allotted college with original documents and Tuition fees.

In case of DNB seat Comeolete your OPJR, pay the fees and report to the institute with original documents.


Q. What will be the procedure for R1 to Round 2 Upgraded Candidates?

1. From DM/MCh to DM/MCh Seat in Different College or Different Course- Candidates need to go to the R1 Institute, collect your original Documents and Tuition fees paid in R1, then go to R2 Institute and Complete the Reporting Formalities by Submitting the original documents and Pay the tuition Fees.

2. In case of DNB to DNB institutes upgradation- Just go to the R1 institutes, collect your Original Documents and go back to your R2 institutes and Submit your Original documents( Complete other Reporting Formalities). No need to pay the fees again.

3. DM/MCH to DNB Upgradation- Go to your R1 institutes collect fees & Documents.
Complete your OPJR and pay DNB Fees(1.25L), Submit your documents and complete Reporting formalities.

4. DNB to DM/MCh upgradation- Go to your R1 Institute, collect your documents.
Go to R2 College Submit your original and pay the tuition fees.
You NBE R1 fees(1.25L) will not get refunded immediately it might take a month or two or maybe more to get refunded.

Note: In vase of Upgradation from R1 to R2, Before collecting your original documents and fees, Institute may ask you to submit a relieving letter.
