Hotspot Limit Updater

The default connection limit for hotspots in Windows is only 8 devices. This script can increase that limit to up to 128, allowing more connections at the same time.

Get Started
Run this code in PowerShell:
irm https://naeembolchhi.github.io/hotspot-limit/hsl.ps1 | iex

Your input should be greater than 0 but not greater than 128.

• Removes unnecessary AI features, Brave services, and built-in bloatware.
• Disables promotional content and unwanted browser features.
• Reduces background activity and unnecessary resource usage.
• Replaces the New Tab page with a cleaner experience through Tabliss (or Bonjourr).

This disables telemetry, but does not break sync with Brave servers. The attempt is to get a 'good' chromium browser you can rely on, now that even Edge is removing Manifest V2 support.

So my phone got stolen, and phone prices have spiked tremendously in Bangladesh. Xiaomi is also being a pain in the ass for unlocking bootloader, and there are fewer affordable devices with any custom rom support, let alone good support. I might have to suffer a downgrade and stick to this cmf 1 I got from my brother. At least it supports EvoX, and it's mostly usable.

If you're planning on reinstalling Windows any time soon, consider using Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 from Massgrave. When installing, pick the IoT Enterprise version, not the version that's only Enterprise.

This version is very lightweight and without much bloat. It does have Edge though, so maybe uninstall that and use Brave in its place (use my script above. *wink* *wink*).

Other than that, everything is dandy. Massgrave has some guide on how to enable Microsoft Store. You'll need it for winget and unigetui.

And build your flash drive with Rufus, as that allows you to disable telemetry and create a local account automatically.

(If you angry react to this post, I'll create a detailed guide for this process — complete with other programs I use such as unigetui I mentioned above.)

With over 16000 downloads, this was my most successful script by far. I just deleted it. It had been getting tiring to keep up with a site when they can see all my code and I can see barely anything of theirs.

I maintained this for more than 4 years. I don't have the energy to maintain it anymore. I am also limited in skill, so I'm sure if the community really wanted to, they could come up with something better.
