Lady Midday is a mythical character common to the various Slavic countries of Eastern Europe. For example, in Czech she is called "Polednice," in Polish, "PoΕudnica", in Serbian "ΠΠΎΠ»ΡΠ΄Π½nya" (Poludnitsa). Each of these names originates from the words "Midday" or "Noon."
She wanders through forests and fields at noon, flying on the wind. She punishes those who do not observe the midday rest. Noon is understood in folk culture as the hour of spirits, much like midnight, and a time for resting.
Anyone who sees her must stop working and stand still or go home, otherwise they will be struck down, cut, or by her touch. She beats those who donot bow to her over their legs. She is particularly dangerous to children. She steals unsupervised children in fields at noon or disobedient children, wanderers, or those who steal fruit.

An iron valve hatch on one side leads to its interior, which appears to be a standard low-rent apartment of modest size. One wall of the room possesses a single window, though no such opening is visible from the exterior. The room contains furniture which, upon close examination, appears to be sculpted bone, woven hair, and various other biological substances produced by the human body. All matter tested thus far show independent or fragmented DNA sequences for each object in the room.
