THE GODS WILL DIE
The water roars and the earth shakes,
The wind blows harsh and the thunder crackles across the sky.
We are okay, we have nothing for them to break,
Says the mother and the father as their young begin to cry.
They are still here,
The gods will not die.
Unlike you,

Poseidon angrily stirs up the ocean,
His trident standing tall.
Zeus strikes down mighty skyscrapers
Like they are nothing at all.
The gods rain down with their resentment,

According to the Chronicle of Henry of Livonia in 1225 the Estonians disinterred the enemy's dead and burned them.It is thought that cremation was believed to speed up the dead person's journey to the afterlife and by cremation the dead would not become earthbound spirits which were thought to be dangerous to the living.

FEAST OF BONA DEA 🎊
The feast of Bona Dea (“Good Goddess”) was celebrated on May 1 or at the beginning of December (probably on December 3). It was a Roman festival in honour of the Roman agrarian god, Bona Dea, daughter of Faunus. This holiday was worshipped only by women, due to the nature of Bona Dea herself – the goddess who is both virgin and responsible for the fertility of women.
Although she had a temple on the Aventine Hill, her feast was celebrated in the house of an important Roman family. Everything male was strictly forbidden to enter the festival, including male animals. We do not know much about the appearance of the celebrations themselves, because there are no records of it. Even in ancient times, the holiday was extremely mysterious, about which virtually nothing men knew.

SCP 011 • THE STATUE OF CHESTER SMITH

SCP-011 is a Civil War memorial statue located in Woodstock, Vermont. The statue is the image of a young male soldier holding a musket at his side, and is carved out of granite quarried within the area. Occasionally, SCP-011 has been observed lifting its musket to the sky to fire at birds which attempt to land or defecate on it. Reports detail that its movements produce soft grinding sounds but do not cause it any structural failure. Oddly, the gunfire is very similar to that of a standard firearm, despite observations that the item only loads granite bullets and granite powder into the musket (which is also unharmed by the firing). In spite of its efforts, some fecal matter does manage to strike SCP-011, and it has reportedly become distressed when it has had a large amount of feces on it, on some rare occasions even firing at humans.
