SHAURASH-HO •

The Prowler Among the Tombs
Father of All Ghouls

Shaurash-Ho is the progenitor of the ghoul species, possibly through mating with Bast. Shaurash-ho is a descendent of Cthulhu and father of Yogash the Ghoul and it has been postulated that it might itself have been a Deep One. Some sources mistakenly identify Nug as the “Father of Ghouls” but since Nug never visited Earth it makes more sense that Shaurash-ho, the father of Yogash the Ghoul, owns this title. Shaurash-ho might be the same entity as Naggoob.
This mysterious entity is mentioned in H. P. Lovecraft's letter to James F. Morton as a descendant of Cthulhu which spawned other two horrid descendants (K'baa the Serpent and Ghoth the Burrower). The latter would have sired with a Roman noblewoman Viburnia the legendary ancestor of Lovecraft himself. The appearance of Shaurash-Ho has never been described

Making a Tāne pendant

A Tāne pendant inspired by the Māori Legend of Tāne. Tāne, god of forests and birds, decided to separate his parents, Papatuanuku, the Earth mother, and Ranginui, the Sky father, with the help of his brothers, the other Māori demi-gods. Their parents were in a tight embrace and did not want to be parted, but this caused nothing but darkness in the world.

ANANIEL • RAIN OF GOD

Ananiel was the 14th Watcher of the 20 leaders of the 200 fallen angels who are mentioned in an ancient work titled the Book of Enoch.
Ananiel was entrusted by God "all the trees of the earth, its plants, the rain, the dew, the heat, the simoom, the wind and as many [atmospheric phenomena] as there are in summer and winter."
Ananiel is also known as an angelic guard of the gates of the South Wind. The Book of Enoch describes three gates for each direction. The first gate inclines to the south-east and brings a hot wind. The second is due south and brings pleasant fragrances, dew, rain, prosperity and life. The third is south-west and brings dew, rain, locusts and devastation. Ananiel is one of the guardians of these gates and can be interpreted as an Archangel to petition for these.
Conversely, according to the tradition of the Coptic Orthodox Church, Ananiel is the name of one of the seven holy archangels.

ZOJZ • SKY GOD

Zojz is a sky and lightning god in Albanian pagan mythology.Regarded as the chief god and the highest of all gods, traces of his worship survived in northern Albania until the early 20th century. The cult practiced by the Albanians on Mount Tomorr in central Albania is considered as a continuation of the ancient sky-god worship. In classical antiquity Zojz is considered to have been worshiped by Illyrians as the ancestors of the Albanians. Albanian Zojz is clearly the equivalent and cognate of Messapic Zis and Ancient Greek Zeus.

On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name? ' And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness'”

(Matthew 7:21-23).

CHUPACABRA • GOAT SUCKER

The chupacabra or chupacabras ( literally 'goat-sucker' ) is a legendary creature in the folklore of parts of the Americas. The name comes from the animal's reported vampirism—the chupacabra is said to attack and drink the blood of livestock, including goats.
