Today we got together at Annetteβs place. It was so satisfying to bring some clarity back to this garden πͺ΄
The kids loved learning from Annette about what each plant is good for and how to use it. Annette is expert in plant knowledge.
Her family supplies the seeds that comes from Fothergills and RSL Heritage seeds. We tasted her mandarins and mulberries, they are so much sweeter than any others Iβve had.
She has 5 different species of bananas growing, a lemonade tree, all kinds of fruit trees and herbs Iβve never heard of before.
Annette has given us some banana logs and seeds that we will use for the kids workshop at the festival. We canβt wait to get the kids planting and taking home their own lettuce and capsicum π« plants or seedlings.
We will begin planting a community garden under the arch.
Thanks to Ella for organising this. Cheryl, Michael, Barry and the kids for the fun day and working with great gusto. We accomplished a lot in two hours but feeling more blessed.

THUNDERBOLT POSE - yoga pose after meals to boost Digestion
How to do it ?
πΈStart in a high kneeling position with your feet and legs together (or as close as they comfortably can be)
πΈThen sit back on your heels.
πΈKeep your heels and toes pointing straight back, in the same direction as each other (not rolling out or in)
πΈSit tall, aligning the back of your skull with the back of your tailbone
πΈRest your hands on your thighs with your palms facing up or down
πΈBreathe normally and fix the attention on the flow of air passing in and out of the nostrils.
NOTE
πΉIf you have knee discomfort, you may also find it helpful to place a rolled up blanket or towel behind your knees.
πΉIt should not be practised for prolonged time > 15mins. It should not be practised until the ankles and knees are sufficiently flexible.
πΉ Avoid in pregnancy, knee Arthritis, injury of legs.
