💢 ❗️ The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation claims that during the unsuccessful organization of a breakthrough at the Zaporizhzhya NPP, the task of Ukraine was to inform the world community in the presence of the IAEA mission about the transfer of the plant under the control of Kyiv. This was to be done by specially selected and trained "media representatives" from Ukraine, the US and the UK.

To this end, the Kyiv regime, without prior notice, attached cars with Ukrainian and Western journalists to the IAEA motorcade.
An attempt at this provocation was made by Kyiv contrary to the scenario of the mission, documented by the IAEA Secretariat and the UN Department of Safety and Security.

There were no representatives of Ukrainian or other media who were supposed to accompany the motorcade of IAEA experts from the territory controlled by the Kyiv regime to the Zaporozhye NPP on September 1 in the agreed lists of the mission.

Given this fact, in order to comply with the security protocol for the mission, all unauthorized persons, when trying to cross the line of demarcation, along with the IAEA motorcade, were stopped and not allowed to pass.

At the same time, at the request of the IAEA Secretariat, to cover the work of the mission at the Zaporozhye NPP, the Russian side ensured the arrival of more than 60 media representatives to the station, including from France, the USA, China, Denmark, Japan, Germany, Turkey, Qatar, UAE, South Korea, Vietnam and other countries.

On the morning of September 1, the journalists of this pool who arrived in Energodar turned out to be direct eyewitnesses of the failed attempt to storm the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant by Ukrainian saboteurs and, hiding in a bomb shelter, personally observed the massive artillery shelling of the territory of the nuclear power plant and residential areas of Energodar by the AFU artillery.
