💢 Germany effectively announces the end of its industrial age -

Germany will completely stop buying Russian coal on August 1, and from December 31 it will also refuse Russian oil, said Jörg Kukis, Assistant to the German Chancellor for Economic Affairs.

“Anyone who is familiar with the history of the Druzhba pipeline, which was a tool of the Soviet empire in Eastern Europe, also knows that getting rid of this dependence is not trivial, but this is what we will achieve in a few months,” Kukis said at the conference in Sydney.

Russia accounted for 40 percent of German coal and oil imports, according to Reuters.

Germany is accelerating its construction of terminals for importing liquefied natural gas to fill the gaps that will arise after phasing out Russian fuel, Kukis said. In addition, the Deputy Minister stressed, Berlin has focused on the transition to alternative energy sources.

It is yet to be announced what those energy sources may be, as the government has proposed wearing sweaters and bathing once a week.

💢 A large number of American nationals were reportedly at at least one of the barracks/structures of the Ukrainian military destroyed by Russian strikes.

Just days ago, Russia published a list of US mercenaries that had just arrived in Ukraine.

Russia showed in photos that it was in possession of scan copies of their passports, home addresses, and explained their itinerary and stated their present address.

They told those Americans to leave Ukraine immediately.

On July 13, more than 200 fighters of the 226th Kraken nationalist formation refused to follow the command's order to move to the Kramatorsk area and claimed a "transfer" to the Kharkov city' territorial defence. During the ensuing fight with the commanders and the ensuing gunfight, 6 militants were killed.
