💢 Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that the West’s policy is bringing the world closer to the brink of a major, unwinnable war.
👉 "Unfortunately, this Western policy is bringing the world closer to the abyss of a major war where, as you know, there won’t be a winner anymore," he stressed at a ceremony honoring the graduates of military institutions and top officers on Tuesday, according to the BelTA news agency.
The Belarusian leader noted that the events that are unfolding nowadays around Belarus and Russia demand extreme attention and scrutiny. "Western countries, openly stage-managed by the United States, are dismantling the system of global security steadily, methodically and even against their own national interests and [their] populations’ wishes," he said.
👉 According to him, "apparently, the freshly-minted ‘crusaders’ from the North Atlantic Alliance suddenly decided that this is the right time for yet another ‘eastward attack’ forgetting how similar ventures ended for their historical predecessors." Lukashenko stressed that in the interests of American hegemony "groups of military forces are being built up, and neo-Nazi ideology and openly Fascist regimes are being supported around undesirable countries."
The head of state noted that the Western countries are conducting active air and land reconnaissance, honing military logistics, redeploying equipment and supplies from other regions while increasing military budgets under the guise of strengthening Europe’s "defense". Furthermore, various ‘defensive’ drills by NATO members are forming "an armored fist", he pointed out.
"Nowadays, neutral Sweden and Finland suddenly desired to urgently join NATO and, defying its own rules, the bloc’s leadership is ready to fast-track them into the alliance. Take note, this was even without asking the opinion of the people of these countries. At the recent NATO summit, the intention to fundamentally ramp up its presence and influence in Europe was declared," the president pointed out.

💢 The Ukraine conflict is in fact already a world war, given that the West is fighting Russia via its proxies in Kiev, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told local media on Wednesday.
“We should understand that amid the world war – because all the talks that it is a regional or a local war must be dropped – the entire Western world is fighting against Russia via Ukrainians. It is a global conflict,” he said in an interview with Pink TV.
The president said that the ongoing global war is what concerns him the most, and, in his view, it will only get worse. He also added that the conflict in Ukraine is taking its toll on the Balkans, reiterating that Serbia would do its best to keep the peace in the region.
Moreover, Vucic believes that after Russia gains some more ground in eastern Ukraine, President Vladimir Putin will approach the West with a certain “proposal.”
“I know what awaits us. As soon as Vladimir Putin has done his work in Seversk, Bakhmut and Soledar, after reaching the second line Slaviansk-Kramatorsk-Avdeevka, he will come up with a proposal. And if they [the West] don’t accept it, – and they won’t – all hell will break loose,” he predicted, without providing any details on the would-be initiative.
The Serbian president also offered the reminder that his nation maintains close relations with Russia and China, adding that pursuing such policies does not come easy for Belgrade right now.

💢 Germany effectively announces the end of its industrial age -
Germany will completely stop buying Russian coal on August 1, and from December 31 it will also refuse Russian oil, said Jörg Kukis, Assistant to the German Chancellor for Economic Affairs.
“Anyone who is familiar with the history of the Druzhba pipeline, which was a tool of the Soviet empire in Eastern Europe, also knows that getting rid of this dependence is not trivial, but this is what we will achieve in a few months,” Kukis said at the conference in Sydney.
Russia accounted for 40 percent of German coal and oil imports, according to Reuters.
Germany is accelerating its construction of terminals for importing liquefied natural gas to fill the gaps that will arise after phasing out Russian fuel, Kukis said. In addition, the Deputy Minister stressed, Berlin has focused on the transition to alternative energy sources.
It is yet to be announced what those energy sources may be, as the government has proposed wearing sweaters and bathing once a week.
