'Radiation levels at the plant are normal' - Russian trooper following Chernobyl seizure
The Russian Ministry of Defence said on Saturday that Units of the Russian Airborne Troops and Ukrainian soldiers were working together to ensure the security of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
According to the ministry, an agreement was reached between the soldiers to jointly ensure security of the plant's power units and the nuclear fuel storage facility.
A Russian paratrooper on the ground said that the situation at the Chernobyl nuclear plant "is under control," and that protection of the plant facilities "is carried out jointly with the National Guard of Ukraine."
"The plant's civilian personnel are working as usual. Radiation levels at the plant are normal," he said.

Pristina also wants accelerated membership to NATO, but currently four members of the alliance - Greece, Romania, Slovakia and Spain - still don’t recognize Kosovo.
“The Republic of Kosovo and its citizens, we have proven … that we are worthy fighters in defense of the Euro-Atlantic values of freedom, peace and democracy, the values on which NATO stands and its mission,” Mehaj wrote.

Brazil to remain neutral in Russia-Ukraine conflict - Bolsonaro
Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has refused to pick sides in the current conflict between Ukraine and Russia, but insists his country will help with “whatever is possible”.
Although he insisted he wouldn’t take sides between the “practically brother nations” in Sunday’s press conference, he noted “a big part of Ukraine’s population speak Russian”, and said Ukrainians had “placed the hope of their nation in the hands of a comedian.”
Brazil also voted for the UN Security Council resolution condemning Russia over Ukraine.

US governors order BAN on Russian-made vodka
Utah Governor Spencer Cox has ordered state-run retail stores to take Russian vodka off the shelves, joining New hampshire, Ohio and Pennsylvania in the largely symbolic gesture.
“We will do our part to push back on the Russian invaders and stand with our brothers and sisters in Ukraine,” Cox said - despite only 1.2% of vodka imports reportedly even coming from Russia.
Of 2021’s $1.4bn of vodka imports to the US, only $18.5mn came from Russia - compared to $660mn from France, for example.
