Kremlin spox Dmitry Peskov said that a Russian diplomatic delegation, including foreign ministry, defense and admin officials, could be sent to Minsk.

“Zelensky announced his readiness to discuss the neutral status of Ukraine. Initially, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the purpose of the operation was to help the LNR and the DNR, including through the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine. And this, in fact, is an integral component of the neutral status”.

Well this is big if confirmed: from the feed below. Looking at the chessboard as a former political consultant - and for a moment looking apart from the terrible suffering of the Ukrainian people; a proxy war with Russia allows the US Pres to provide a blameless reason for fuel supplies to be suspended or limited in US. Which situation would allow for a visible state of emergency more real than receding virus. Which would put all power in hands of Admin as people would start to be cold and hungry and unable to travel easily. As someone familiar with WH speechwriting processes: beware anything named in a Presidential speech (as gas was) because that is a setup for a story around an outcome that has already been decided by the WH.
