Sen Rand Paul has quit YouTube the video-sharing platform over 'excessive censorship' practices - citing his content questioning mask effectiveness and Trump impeachment attempts.

Paul was suspended by YouTube in August 2021 for his cloth face mask video, and then claimed “we have abandoned science and rational debate for an almost religious adherence to the edicts of government bureaucrats like Anthony Fauci. To challenge the data is to be 'denier' or 'conspiracist' who must be silenced.”

In his Washington Examiner op-ed explaining his decision, he slated MSM/Big Tech's marriage as a “Medieval church."
