Kazakhstan Joins mBridge Project

The National Bank of Kazakhstan (NBK) has joined the Bank for International Settlements-led mBridge project, the National Payment Corporation of Kazakhstan revealed on August 25.

The national provider of payments systems and digital financial infrastructure revealed Kazakhstan has joined the cross-border central bank digital currency (CBDC) initiative in its weekly news round-up.
