Concerning what initiated this whole massive event over the last 20 months, a tweep just asked me:

“Why does it make a big difference if ‘the event’ was initiated by design - when it was certainly capitalized upon?”

Because

(1) without THAT (mass hysteria) there would be nothing to capitalize on, and

(2) even in the absence of the exploiters, a billion micro-evil, for-your-safety, otherwise pleasant neighbors IS what destroys societies — THAT’S the horror of totalitarianism.
