I’ve got someone with an appointment today that got moved from yesterday so I don’t have any meaningful updates on Bonds today. I’m still very hopeful in getting alone this week from someone on the Bond side and that will be my Litmus in just how liquid they are right now.

🔸Iraq:

The Governor Advisor To Natural Resources Has been estimated at $16 Trillion. That will give you a idea as to the amount of currency that they can support based on their natural resources.

🇮🇷 The undersea card: Iran’s new digital leverage over Gulf

🔶 Beyond control of the Strait of Hormuz as an oil chokepoint, Iran has another source of leverage: subsea fiber-optic cables linking Europe, Asia, and the Gulf.

🔶 As the US weighs new strikes, Iran is signaling plans to charge major tech companies for using these cables, reports Iranian media.

🔶 The IRGC already possesses the tools to monitor — or disrupt — these networks, including combat divers, mini-submarines, and underwater drones.

📍 The risks are not theoretical.

In 2024, four submarine cables — AAE-1, Seacom, EIG, and TGN — were severed in the Red Sea after a vessel struck by Houthi militants dragged its anchor across the seabed while sinking.

🔸 25% of internet traffic between Asia, Europe, and the Middle East was disrupted (per HGC Global Communications)

🔸 Providers in India, Pakistan, and East Africa suffered connectivity degradation

🔸 Repairs took weeks & cost billions

🇮🇷 Iranian media singles out at least seven major cable systems transiting the Strait:
