この演習には、アメリカ海軍を代表する艦艇の一つである原子力空母「ニミッツ」をはじめ、両国の重要な海軍・航空戦力が集結しました。また、駆逐艦「グリッドリー」、補給艦「パタクセント」、フリゲート艦「デフェンソラ」、コルベット艦「バロッソ」、潜水艦「ウマイタ」、そしてブラジル海軍のAH-11Bワイルドリンクス攻撃ヘリコプターなどの航空機も参加しました

演習では、対空戦闘、潜水艦作戦、航空デモンストレーションなどが実施され、相互運用性の向上、作戦能力の開発、海軍間の連携強化に重点が置かれました
