Zu'ah bin Ibrahim said that a man came to 'Umar (may ALLĀH be pleased with him) and said to him: "I have an old mother who is unable to go answer the call of nature, so I carry her on my back. I also help her perform ablution while turning my face away from her (out of respect). Have I fulfilled my duty towards her?"
'Umar said, "No."
The man said, "Even though I carry her on my back and exert myself in her service?"
'Umar (may ALLĀH be pleased with him) said, "She used to do the same for you ˹when you were young˺ while hoping that you will live, as for you, you await when she will go away (die)."

When Parents Die 💔
Nothing is ever the same again. A part of us changes forever. We can no longer simply be children, because the very people who made us feel safe, loved, and sheltered are no longer here. We no longer have their warm hugs to run to, their tender kisses to comfort us, or their words of encouragement that once gave us courage to face the world.
Life suddenly feels heavier and harder, because their protective love—the shield that once surrounded us—is gone. When our parents leave this world, no matter how old we are, we are left as orphans. And that truth is painfully hard to accept at any age. You may have your own family now, but deep inside, the face of your parents, their voices, and their love remain etched in your soul for eternity.
We grow older, but within each of us lives a child—longing to be cared for, guided, and protected by Mom and Dad. That child never disappears, and when our parents are gone, that longing becomes deeper, stronger, and unending.
To lose them is to lose a piece of home, a part of ourselves. Yet even in their absence, their love lives on—shaping who we are, reminding us of where we came from, and whispering to us in the silence that we are never truly alone, because the bond between parent and child is eternal.

4 TYPES OF INTELLIGENCE EVERY PARENT SHOULD HELP THEIR CHILD DEVELOP
According to Psychologists, there are four types of Intelligence:
1) Intelligence Quotient (IQ)
2) Emotional Quotient (EQ)
3) Social Quotient (SQ)
4) Adversity Quotient (AQ)
1. Intelligence Quotient (IQ)
This is the measure of your level of comprehension. IQ helps you solve mathematics, memorize information, analyze problems, and recall lessons. It is what schools mostly focus on and reward.
2. Emotional Quotient (EQ)
This measures your ability to understand and manage emotions — yours and other people’s. EQ helps you maintain peace with others, keep time, take responsibility, remain honest, respect boundaries, stay humble, genuine, and considerate. It is the foundation of strong character and self-control.
3. Social Quotient (SQ)
This measures your ability to build relationships, create networks, and maintain them over time. SQ determines how well you communicate, influence, cooperate, and coexist with others in society.
People with high EQ and SQ often go further in life than those with only high IQ but poor emotional and social skills. Most education systems focus heavily on improving IQ, while EQ and SQ are often ignored or undervalued.
A man with a high IQ can easily end up working for a man with average IQ but high EQ and SQ — because leadership, trust, and influence are social skills.
Your EQ represents your Character.
Your SQ represents your Charisma.
Understanding these differences will help you deal with people better, avoid unnecessary conflicts, choose healthier relationships, and navigate social situations with wisdom instead of ego.
4. Adversity Quotient (AQ)
This measures your ability to endure hardship, pressure, failure, and pain — and still move forward without losing your mind.
When life hits hard, AQ determines:
• Who gives up
• Who walks away from responsibility
• Who abandons their family
• And who, sadly, considers suicide
AQ is what keeps you standing when everything else collapses.
Parents, please expose your children to more than just academics. Let them experience manual labour (never use work as punishment), sports, arts, discipline, responsibility, and real-life challenges.
Develop their IQ, EQ, SQ, and AQ. Raise children who are resilient, emotionally intelligent, socially capable, and mentally strong. Raise multifaceted human beings who can function independently of their parents.
Finally: Do not prepare the road for your children. Prepare your children for the road.

So I am increasingly receiving lots and lots of below cases. Many parents come, cry, tell this situation. The unbelievable increase of such cases is scary. So what is the case?
Parents noticing their son/daughter, teenager, or even in mid 20s and even early 30s, loving complete isolation, doing absolutely nothing, hating to be interfered, stay in rooms all day, having no routines what so ever, and bursting and exploding when confronted and even threatening suicide if confronted.
So what’s happening out there?
It’s either porn addiction. And definitely dopamine based life style addiction. An individual full of dope hates being social, hates to be disturbed, hates to leave screen addiction. Such a person becomes a zombie and complete slave of screens. That person’s whole life now revolves around watching porn, chatting to opposite gender (multiple), Netflix, reels, TikTok and every thing giving dope. Their will power is dead. Their motivation is dead. They have no aspirations in life. They don’t want to do anything in life.
Now imagine, having a huge number of such teens/adults and in almost every home. Thats scary.
What’s the solution? Sorry I really don’t have one. This is the biggest addiction of this century. This is the biggest fitnah of this age. It’s so big that once someone is in it, there’s little to no hope. It paralyses the individual completely as he/she is not at all willing to talk to someone, listen to someone, or change something. Yes I may sound very pessimistic, but I know how addictive this lifestyle is. Do you guys have a solution? Comment below if you have one or have some motivational story to tell.
As for parents whose children are still just born, my question to them, are you ready and well equipped to save your child from this fitnah?

Dear Dad,
I miss you in ways that break me every single day. Sometimes it feels like the world kept moving, but I stayed behind, stuck in the moment you left. I search for you in the stars, in the quiet, in the pieces of my heart that will never feel whole again.
I would give anything for one more hug, one more laugh, one more chance to hear your voice. The silence without you is unbearable. People say time heals, but time has only taught me how to carry the pain, never erase it.
You were more than just my father—you were my strength, my safe place, my home. Now I walk through life with tears that no one sees, carrying a love that will never fade, and a longing that will never end.
I miss you, Dad. Always.

💕 Parents Don’t Die,
They live with us forever...
People say that when parents die,
the world comes to an end.
The house looks empty.
But I feel that parents live forever
and they stay with us.
It's us who forget them.
The matter of the fact is that
a brother has eyes of his beloved father,
a sister has the pretty face
like the compassionate mother,
a sibling smiles like dad or
a sister cooks like mom.
Parents don't die.
They never leave us.
They live among us.
They live in us.
We are the reflections of our parents.
Despite their physical absence,
they continue to live in us.
When you want to remember parents,
when you want to see them,
when you want to be with them,
simply gather your siblings around you.
You will find the mesmerizing smile
of the mother in one sibling,
the soothing voice of the father in another. You will feel the parents very close to you.
All around you. Deep inside you..
The garden of love that parents cultivate and grow with love, from the time that you are born, with the hard work of their tears and blood; it will continue to bloom,..
unaffected by the cycles of tough weathers of life.. They shelter us in tough times..
But there are times,
when we forget all their hard work and destroy their paradise that they built, with our selfishness, hatred, and opportunistic attitudes.
Parents don't die.
They live with us forever...
(Unknown)
YA Allah grant all our parents a long and healthy life and for those parents who have passed away, May Allah bless them with Jannathol Firdous... Aameen ♥️

HOW GRIEF LEFT THE MAN
WHEN HIS SON DIED
A man’s child passed away, so Sufyan ibn Uyaynah رحمه الله and others gave him condolence, for he was in severe grief. Until Fudail ibn Iyad رحمه الله came and said,
"O you! Do you not see if you and your son were in prison and your son was released before you, would you not then be pleased?" The man replied, "Of course." Fudail said, "Then your son has left the prison of this dunya before you." The grief left the man, and he said, “You have consoled me.”

Indian parents are infectiously delusional.
They keep telling themselves they sacrificed everything so the children would stay clean.
What I have starkly observed and what they fail to realise is that they actually passed on was the 'unexamined life'. That typical Indian father, who never got time to introspect his own rage produced sons who either explode or disappear.
That stereotypical "bechari mother" who swallowed every wound raised daughters who inherited the same silence and called it inner strength.
Indian #GenZs can name the pattern now and still feel trapped inside it. They smell the rot their parents spent decades hiding behind duty and adjustment. And somehow it pains the parents that they are being called out.
Unfaced shadows do not stay in one generation. In this country they travel as family tradition and are inherited with pride. That's the level of delusion, we survive daily.

𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗯𝘀 & 𝗜𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗺𝘀 :
من شبَّ على شيء شابَ عليه
Whoever grows up upon something, will grow old upon it.
Explanation: A person’s early upbringing and habits strongly shape their character and behaviour for life. Whatever they become accustomed to in their youth is likely to remain with them into adulthood and old age.
This proverb is often used as advice to instill good morals, manners, and habits in children from a young age, because changing deeply ingrained habits later is much harder.
Sheikh ʿUthaymīn (may Allāh have mercy on him) said:
“Children should be given great care in being raised upon the manners and etiquette of Islam. In fact, we may even say it is obligatory to raise them upon the morals and manners of Islam, for if a child grows up accustomed to something, he will remain upon it. It is difficult, once he becomes older, to instill in him something he was unfamiliar with from a young age.”
[Fatḥ Dhil-Jalāl wal-Ikrām, vol. 5, p. 40]
