"A woman should train her children properly, for her children represent the men and women of the future."

Shaykh Saalih ibn Uthaymeen (rahimahullaah)
from The Uprightness of a Woman.

A child who is constantly corrected stops talking.

At first, they tell you everything.

What happened at school.
Who hurt them.
What they are afraid of.
What silly mistake they made.

But when every conversation turns into a lesson, every mistake into a lecture and every opinion into a correction,
they learn a lesson:
"It is safer not to say anything."

So they stop asking. Stop sharing.
Stop opening up.

Years later, parents wonder,
"Why doesn't my child tell me anything anymore?"

The silence didn't begin in adolescence.
It began the day the child felt unheard.

Children need guidance. But they need emotional safety first.

Connect before you correct.

Because a child who feels safe will always come back to you.

The word Mother is not just a noun. More than the word, Father, Mother is also a verb. It involves a lot of doings. You can have an unemployed father, but there is no such thing as an unemployed mother. To be a mother is a job in itself, and it is more tasking and rewarding than being the CEO of a major corporation. May Allah bless our mothers ๐Ÿคฒ Aameen

Some notes regarding television

Research has found that children spend an average of three to four hours watching television each day. In a 65-year lifespan, that means s/he will have spent nine of those years in front of a box. With these statistics, we realize that children spend significant amounts of time in the fictional world, engaging with this virtual world often more than they do in the real world. It suddenly becomes worrisome when you begin to realize this fact and understand its implications. Television viewing is harmful to the intellectual, psychological, and social development of children. Even more frightening is that children may be harming their souls at a very young age; often never to recover their purity and wholesomeness again.

Dangers to intellectual, psychological, and social development

When a child is born, s/he possesses all of the brain cells (or neutrons) that s/he will have for his or her lifetime, although these cells are not yet fully developed. This progression occurs early in life though interaction with others, stimulation from the outside world, and love and care of a parent. Television has actually been found to be harmful for the process, not allowing the brain to complete its full development. This is because television viewing is a passive activity, not an active one. The American Academy of Pediatrics has itself provided a warning that children under two years of age should not be allowed to watch any television, primarily for this reason. Much of the development occurs early in childhood, but it does continue into adolescence, so this applies to children of all ages.

Childhood trauma leaves a physical โ€scarโ€ on brain cells, lowering a personโ€™s biological ability to handle stress in adulthood.

Researchers at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and Princeton University have discovered that early-life trauma physically alters how DNA is packaged inside brain cells.

Focusing on the brain's ventral tegmental areaโ€”a region critical for processing rewards and threatsโ€”the study revealed that severe childhood stress stretches open the packaging of certain DNA segments. This structural change leaves the genes responsible for responding to stress highly exposed and easily triggered.

Consequently, individuals who experience early adversity carry a molecular 'scar' that permanently lowers their biological tolerance for stress in adulthood.

This breakthrough offers hope for revolutionary mental health treatments. In animal models, the research team successfully blocked the specific enzyme responsible for this DNA stretching, effectively preventing the developing brain from becoming hypersensitive to future adversity.

Because childhood trauma is a massive global public health challenge, uncovering this precise biological mechanism provides scientists with a concrete target to develop early-intervention therapeutics that can actively protect or repair the vulnerable young brain.

Zu'ah bin Ibrahim said that a man came to 'Umar (may ALLฤ€H be pleased with him) and said to him: "I have an old mother who is unable to go answer the call of nature, so I carry her on my back. I also help her perform ablution while turning my face away from her (out of respect). Have I fulfilled my duty towards her?"

'Umar said, "No."

The man said, "Even though I carry her on my back and exert myself in her service?"

'Umar (may ALLฤ€H be pleased with him) said, "She used to do the same for you หนwhen you were youngหบ while hoping that you will live, as for you, you await when she will go away (die)."

When Parents Die ๐Ÿ’”
Nothing is ever the same again. A part of us changes forever. We can no longer simply be children, because the very people who made us feel safe, loved, and sheltered are no longer here. We no longer have their warm hugs to run to, their tender kisses to comfort us, or their words of encouragement that once gave us courage to face the world.

Life suddenly feels heavier and harder, because their protective loveโ€”the shield that once surrounded usโ€”is gone. When our parents leave this world, no matter how old we are, we are left as orphans. And that truth is painfully hard to accept at any age. You may have your own family now, but deep inside, the face of your parents, their voices, and their love remain etched in your soul for eternity.

We grow older, but within each of us lives a childโ€”longing to be cared for, guided, and protected by Mom and Dad. That child never disappears, and when our parents are gone, that longing becomes deeper, stronger, and unending.

To lose them is to lose a piece of home, a part of ourselves. Yet even in their absence, their love lives onโ€”shaping who we are, reminding us of where we came from, and whispering to us in the silence that we are never truly alone, because the bond between parent and child is eternal.

4 TYPES OF INTELLIGENCE EVERY PARENT SHOULD HELP THEIR CHILD DEVELOP

According to Psychologists, there are four types of Intelligence:

1) Intelligence Quotient (IQ)
2) Emotional Quotient (EQ)
3) Social Quotient (SQ)
4) Adversity Quotient (AQ)

1. Intelligence Quotient (IQ)
This is the measure of your level of comprehension. IQ helps you solve mathematics, memorize information, analyze problems, and recall lessons. It is what schools mostly focus on and reward.

2. Emotional Quotient (EQ)
This measures your ability to understand and manage emotions โ€” yours and other peopleโ€™s. EQ helps you maintain peace with others, keep time, take responsibility, remain honest, respect boundaries, stay humble, genuine, and considerate. It is the foundation of strong character and self-control.

3. Social Quotient (SQ)
This measures your ability to build relationships, create networks, and maintain them over time. SQ determines how well you communicate, influence, cooperate, and coexist with others in society.

People with high EQ and SQ often go further in life than those with only high IQ but poor emotional and social skills. Most education systems focus heavily on improving IQ, while EQ and SQ are often ignored or undervalued.

A man with a high IQ can easily end up working for a man with average IQ but high EQ and SQ โ€” because leadership, trust, and influence are social skills.

Your EQ represents your Character.
Your SQ represents your Charisma.

Understanding these differences will help you deal with people better, avoid unnecessary conflicts, choose healthier relationships, and navigate social situations with wisdom instead of ego.

4. Adversity Quotient (AQ)
This measures your ability to endure hardship, pressure, failure, and pain โ€” and still move forward without losing your mind.

When life hits hard, AQ determines:
โ€ข Who gives up
โ€ข Who walks away from responsibility
โ€ข Who abandons their family
โ€ข And who, sadly, considers suicide

AQ is what keeps you standing when everything else collapses.

Parents, please expose your children to more than just academics. Let them experience manual labour (never use work as punishment), sports, arts, discipline, responsibility, and real-life challenges.

Develop their IQ, EQ, SQ, and AQ. Raise children who are resilient, emotionally intelligent, socially capable, and mentally strong. Raise multifaceted human beings who can function independently of their parents.

Finally: Do not prepare the road for your children. Prepare your children for the road.

So I am increasingly receiving lots and lots of below cases. Many parents come, cry, tell this situation. The unbelievable increase of such cases is scary. So what is the case?

Parents noticing their son/daughter, teenager, or even in mid 20s and even early 30s, loving complete isolation, doing absolutely nothing, hating to be interfered, stay in rooms all day, having no routines what so ever, and bursting and exploding when confronted and even threatening suicide if confronted.

So whatโ€™s happening out there?
Itโ€™s either porn addiction. And definitely dopamine based life style addiction. An individual full of dope hates being social, hates to be disturbed, hates to leave screen addiction. Such a person becomes a zombie and complete slave of screens. That personโ€™s whole life now revolves around watching porn, chatting to opposite gender (multiple), Netflix, reels, TikTok and every thing giving dope. Their will power is dead. Their motivation is dead. They have no aspirations in life. They donโ€™t want to do anything in life.

Now imagine, having a huge number of such teens/adults and in almost every home. Thats scary.

Whatโ€™s the solution? Sorry I really donโ€™t have one. This is the biggest addiction of this century. This is the biggest fitnah of this age. Itโ€™s so big that once someone is in it, thereโ€™s little to no hope. It paralyses the individual completely as he/she is not at all willing to talk to someone, listen to someone, or change something. Yes I may sound very pessimistic, but I know how addictive this lifestyle is. Do you guys have a solution? Comment below if you have one or have some motivational story to tell.

As for parents whose children are still just born, my question to them, are you ready and well equipped to save your child from this fitnah?

Dear Dad,
I miss you in ways that break me every single day. Sometimes it feels like the world kept moving, but I stayed behind, stuck in the moment you left. I search for you in the stars, in the quiet, in the pieces of my heart that will never feel whole again.
I would give anything for one more hug, one more laugh, one more chance to hear your voice. The silence without you is unbearable. People say time heals, but time has only taught me how to carry the pain, never erase it.
You were more than just my fatherโ€”you were my strength, my safe place, my home. Now I walk through life with tears that no one sees, carrying a love that will never fade, and a longing that will never end.
I miss you, Dad. Always.

๐Ÿ’• Parents Donโ€™t Die,
They live with us forever...

People say that when parents die,
the world comes to an end.
The house looks empty.
But I feel that parents live forever
and they stay with us.

It's us who forget them.
The matter of the fact is that
a brother has eyes of his beloved father,
a sister has the pretty face
like the compassionate mother,
a sibling smiles like dad or
a sister cooks like mom.

Parents don't die.
They never leave us.
They live among us.
They live in us.
We are the reflections of our parents.
Despite their physical absence,
they continue to live in us.

When you want to remember parents,
when you want to see them,
when you want to be with them,
simply gather your siblings around you.

You will find the mesmerizing smile
of the mother in one sibling,
the soothing voice of the father in another. You will feel the parents very close to you.
All around you. Deep inside you..

The garden of love that parents cultivate and grow with love, from the time that you are born, with the hard work of their tears and blood; it will continue to bloom,..
unaffected by the cycles of tough weathers of life.. They shelter us in tough times..

But there are times,
when we forget all their hard work and destroy their paradise that they built, with our selfishness, hatred, and opportunistic attitudes.

Parents don't die.
They live with us forever...

YA Allah grant all our parents a long and healthy life and for those parents who have passed away, May Allah bless them with Jannathol Firdous... Aameen โ™ฅ๏ธ

HOW GRIEF LEFT THE MAN
WHEN HIS SON DIED

A manโ€™s child passed away, so Sufyan ibn Uyaynah ุฑุญู…ู‡ ุงู„ู„ู‡ and others gave him condolence, for he was in severe grief. Until Fudail ibn Iyad ุฑุญู…ู‡ ุงู„ู„ู‡ came and said,

"O you! Do you not see if you and your son were in prison and your son was released before you, would you not then be pleased?" The man replied, "Of course." Fudail said, "Then your son has left the prison of this dunya before you." The grief left the man, and he said, โ€œYou have consoled me.โ€
