3. Talk nicely about others. When we point out the good in others, it becomes easier to see the good in others.

A single mother travelled for umrah with her 16 year old son. She’s spent nearly 40 odd years of her life without wearing hijab.

*A Duʿaa Every Mother Should Make for Her Child*

When the Prophet ﷺ made duʿaa for Ibn Abbas رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُ, he didn’t ask for “knowledge.”
He asked for something deeper:

“O Allaah, grant him deep understanding of the deen and teach him the interpretation.”
*اللَّهُمَّ فَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ وَعَلِّمْهُ التَّأْوِيلَ*

And because of this duʿaa, Ibn Abbas (RA) became known as Bahr-ul-Ilm —
“The Ocean of Knowledge.”

✨ As mothers, we worry about academics, careers, tuitions, and milestones.
But the greatest gift we can pray for… is a heart connected to Allaah and a mind illuminated with understanding.

And sending her to a HARAAM GRADUATION / Farewell party with full music, free mixing...

Is this how u thank Allah for looking after ur child by helping them in SINNING? teaching them to PARTY?

Dont for a MOMENT think that Allah won't question u about u allowing ur child in going to such HARAM farewell parties.

And dont be surprised if one day ur child goes to clubbing because u had showed them the way!

Du’a to Ask Allah to Guide Your Difficult Child

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ اِجْتَهَدْتُ أَنْ * أُؤَدِّبَ *

name of son / name of daughter

فَلَمْ أَقْدِرْ عَلَى تَأَدِيْبِهِ فَأَدِّبْهُ أَنْتَ لِي

Transliteration:

Allahumma innee ijtahad-tu an * u-addiba *

name of son / name of daughter

Falam Aqdir ‘Alaa Ta’ Deebihi Fa Addib-hu Anta Lee

Translation:

Oh Allah, surely I tried to cultivate

name of son / name of daughter

But I was not able to cultivate so, so You cultivate him/her for me.

Many Muslims today, especially the young and those living away from strong Islamic environments, are gradually losing their Islamic identity.

In non Muslim societies, many Muslim children celebrate Christmas at school. They sing carols, wear themed outfits, exchange cards, and take part in greetings that do not belong to their faith.

It is the responsibility of parents to educate and raise their children upon the correct Aqeedah.

They will be questioned about this on the Day of Judgment.

HOW TO RAISE FINANCIALLY SMART KIDS (ISLAMIC PERSPECTIVE)

1. Teach them to earn halal money, not expect handouts

2. Don’t rescue them from every mistake—accountability builds wisdom

3. Explain assets vs. liabilities as benefit vs. burden

4. Let them see you work with ihsān, not just spend with ease

5. Show them how small, consistent halal efforts grow (barakah over speed)

6. Teach them that ownership and trade are honored in Islam

7. Let them watch you think before you spend

8. Explain why you say “no” to waste and excess

9. Train them in sabr (patience), not instant desire

10. Show them why simple and steady beats flashy and loud

11. Make them responsible for their own savings and amanah

12. Teach them that time is a trust from Allah, more valuable than money

Schools may teach subjects.
But wealth with barakah is taught at home.

Your children won’t learn money from books alone.
They’ll learn it by watching your choices.

🌠 Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Honouring Parents

It was narrated that Abu Usaid, Malik bin Rabi'ah (RA), said: "While we were with Nabi ﷺ, a man from the Banu Salamah came to him and said: " O Messenger of Allah, is there any way of honouring my parents that I can still do for them after they die?' He said: "Yes offering the funeral prayer for them, praying for forgiveness for them, fulfilling their promises after their death, honouring their friends and upholding the ties of kinship which you would not have were it not for them.'"
(Sunan Ibn Majah 3664, Book 33, Hadith 8)

Grief is universal. Everyone deals with death in their own way but this is a beautiful way to not only honour your parents after they have gone but also gain reward for them. A righteous child benefits the parents after they have passed away. Be that child. Maintain the bonds, ask about those they asked about, pray for them and fulfil their promises. In Shaa Allah you will be reunited with your parents in the Hereafter and this time is only temporary. Our sincerest duas to all who have lost their parents, may they have a high status in Jannah and be elevated through all you do - Ameen! 🌠

A Mother’s Du’a

Muhammad bin Ismail (al-Bukhari) — rahimahullah — lost his vision (went blind) when he was a little boy.

And his mother saw (the prophet) Ibrahim al-Khalil (alayhi salam) in a dream, and he said to her:

“Oh you! Allah has restored the eyesight of your son due to your excessive crying and (making) abundant du’aa (for him)”.

Then in the morning they woke up and Allah had restored his eyesight to him.

When she is a daughter, she opens the door of Jannah for her father.

When she is a wife, she completes half of the deen of her husband.

When she is a mother, Jannah lies at her feet.

People who have children before being psycho-emotionally well contribute to the developmental trauma of all their future generations.

Many parents are really not doing their job of protecting their children's faith/iman well. They do not engage with their children's teachers or school administration. And in many cases, they don't bother finding out what happens at times like Remembrance Day and other holidays. They are oblivious of the assemblies and what transpires there. This is a major shortcoming and a betrayal of the amanah/trust that lies on their shoulders.

Before all these occasions, I have a short talk with the children about why we do not take part in any of these events and how these events must be boycotted by us. I also remind them of لكم دينكم ولي دين (to you is your religion/way and to me is my religion/way). Often, children inform me of how teachers tell them to participate even after they express to them that they do not want to and are not comfortable doing so. For Remembrance Day, for example, a teacher told a young girl that they must, because it's just polite amd nice to. This is a young girl, so she obviously felt shy and pressured. But whose fault is that? No doubt, the blame lies with the parents for not being proactive. And there is no doubt that these teachers bear a share of blame as well for not respecting the wishes of the children. They want to impose their beliefs on others and show no sensitivity whatsoever toward the beliefs of others.
