Been a really rough last few days for everyone. I think it's that time of the year again, where we slow down a bit and reassess everything, shift gears on the risk as the market remains choppy.

I don't know when the bottom would be. But I would suggest not overtrade at this point. We had easy mode last few months, it's hard mode again. It's time to focus on Capital protection more than capital creation.

Being a multicycle cockroach. What I can tell is, easy mode will come again, don't fight yourself too hard.

Also, it's a good opportunity right now to focus on improving your skills and sharpening your axe. Maybe spend some time offline doing things that make you happy. I was feeling a bit low yesterday, spent some good time on the beach and in the ocean while jet skiing. It gave me a good rush and cleared up my head, and I’m kinda bullish on life more than ever.

I started reading this book called Thinking in bets, kinda really liking it and also been slowly consuming Crypto cred's trading playbook to try and become a better trader.

Also, it's a very good time to farm some/use some quality crypto products, which can give like 6 figs kinda airdrop by just being early. If you’re actively trading right now you need to READ THIS. The chart is telling a story most people are ignoring.

The Nasdaq–BTC chart looks like shit. You can literally see the post-crash PTSD.

The funny thing is, Nasdaq’s still doing fine- up 3.5% month-on-month. It’s pretty clear at this point that Wall Street runs the BTC pulse. If equities correct, BTC bleeds hard, and alts will scream in pain.

Sure, it’s impossible to know what happens next with the Nasdaq, but even if BTC and alts feel like they’re at a dip right now, the max pain hits if the Nasdaq drops 2–4%.

So I’d say stay just a bit cautious right now. There are times to go aggressive and risk-on and there are times to play defense.

Capital preservation is just as important as making money. The beauty of the game lies in finding the perfect balance between those two modes. We’re all playing with internet game money and the players who truly understand risk management are the ones who’ll survive and thrive in this game.

I’m still playing in the trenches because there have been some good runners, but I’m not in all-in mode right now TBH. So whenever I share something, act accordingly please. At the end of the day, my job is to share the thesis and your job as a trader is to act on it- while making sure you manage your risk well.

Nasdaq is down 3.4% since the previous post and BTC has fallen more than 6% in response.
Nasdaq is down another 1.5% today in the premarket, so the weekly close will be important to watch.

BTC continues to react more sharply to Nasdaq’s downside than to its upside-highlighting a clear sensitivity to equity weakness.

As I stated in the last post, there are times to go aggressive and risk-on and there are times to play defense. It’s better to wait for a trend reversal in broader equities rather than trying to catch falling knives.
