Initial Setup: The token starts with a supply of ~44 million seconds (based on seconds since DEGEN's launch), with 90% locked in liquidity (100 seconds = 1 DEGEN). Minting begins 7 days after deployment, allowing users to claim unclaimed SECONDS.

Minting Mechanism: Users can mint SECONDS equal to their current holdings, with the frequency depending on the amount held (e.g., 31.5M for every second, 2.59M for every minute, etc.). Unclaimed tokens roll over, incentivizing early and larger holdings.

Growth Cycle: As more users join and hold SECONDS, the total supply grows (1 token per second), increasing liquidity and value. Higher holdings enable more frequent minting, attracting more participants and boosting demand.

Reinforcement: This creates a circular effect—more users lead to more liquidity, higher value, and stronger incentives, potentially "skyrocketing" the token's worth as network activity scales.

Most degen traders I know (The actual Pump fun users) are bearish on $PUMP. Probably because they understand how predatory the Pump team is. With Bonk fun and other launchpads eating into their market share in recent months, the $1.3B raise feels more like a max liquidity extraction event than anything else.

On the flip side, most investors and non-degen traders I know are bullish on Pump likely because they see a $4B FDV as reasonable for a company that’s done over $750M in revenue, with around $300M ARR, and are comparing it to Hyperliquid.
