Introducing Smart Swaps: A New Feature That Allows Users To Directly Swap Between Any Listed Tokens With A Single Transaction

On AMM Exchanges such as the Maiar DEX, users trade against liquidity pools. These LPs accept trades only between the two assets that created the pool, meaning that the available options for direct trading are limited to the existing pools.

For example, up until now, if you wanted to swap MEX for RIDE you first had to swap MEX for $EGLD, and then $EGLD for RIDE, in two different transactions.

Smart Swaps pack those into just one transaction, which is faster and more convenient. This is possible thanks to a new Router Smart Contract, which automatically finds the best route for swapping Token A for Token B, and executes it in one go.

As a result, you can now directly pair any token with any other token in the Swap page.

Web3 Creativity Flows Through All Elrond dApps With Asset Branding For Tokens And NFTs

In the Elrond ecosystem, branding a token will display its logo in tools such as the Web Wallet, Explorer, Maiar Exchange, or the Jungle DEX, as well as in all other platforms that use the Elrond GitHub “assets” repository as a source for data.

The Maiar app will display unbranded ESDTs with the “possible scam” warning, which is in place to keep users on their toes regarding possible phishing or scam attempts.
