Itheum Price Discovery is LIVE on the Maiar DEX 🔥

Price Discovery is an asynchronous mechanism that allows the market to decide on a fair token price before trading starts.

Buyers & sellers signal their intention by depositing ITHEUM and/or EGLD tokens. The ratio determines the listing price of the ITHEUM token.

Phase 1: Deposit & Free Withdraw April 25, 16:00 UTC - April 26, 07:59 UTC

• The initial phase will allow everyone to deposit ITHEUM and EGLD tokens
• The price will reflect the deposited amounts
• If participants decide to withdraw tokens, they can do so without any penalty

Itheum Price Discovery advances to the next stage on the Maiar DEX

As sufficient time have passed for the participants to indicate their intentions, a range of the final price becomes apparent.

Participants who think this range is outside of their interest area can still withdraw, but at a penalty that increases over time up to 10% until 11:59 UTC.

Phase 2: Deposit & Up to 10% Penalty Withdraw April 26, 08:00 UTC - 11:59 UTC

• Similar to Phase 1, deposits are possible
• The price will reflect the deposited amounts
• If participants decide to withdraw tokens, they can do so, but withdrawals now carry a penalty, which gradually increases over time from 0% until 10%.

Itheum Price Discovery progresses to the final stage on the Maiar DEX

As the participants in the previous phase could make their decisions at a lower penalty, the range of the final price becomes even more clear.

Deposits are no longer possible in this phase and participants who choose to withdraw will incur a hefty penalty of 10%.

Phase 3: 10% Penalty Withdraw (No more deposits) April 26, 12:00 UTC - 15:59 UTC

• Deposits are no longer possible
• Withdrawals now carry a fixed penalty of 10%
• Withdrawal Penalties accumulated in Phase 2 & 3 have no impact on the price and will be distributed to the remaining participants as bonus tokens

Significant Elrond DeFi Milestone: The First Price Discovery Process On The Maiar DEX Has Been Successfully Completed!

10,000 pioneers have participated in the Itheum Price Discovery process, deposited a total of $30 Million USD and helped make Elrond DeFi history.

A total of 98k EGLD and 16.65M ITHEUM were deposited in the Smart Contract before the end of the event, for a final EGLD:ITHEUM ratio of 1:169, resulting in an ITHEUM to be valued by the market at ±$0.88 USD.

Participants can now proceed to reclaim the locked tokens resulted from the deposits they have made.

Liquidity can be added in any combination of locked and unlocked tokens, which means that every ITHEUM holder can participate and earn up to 1000% APR as farm rewards in the first 7 days.

The ITHEUM token listing process continues according to the planned schedule.
