O'zingizni majburlang!
Ba'zida shunaqa paytlar bo'ladi o'qigiz kelmay qoladi, kursga qo'shilgansiz lekin uy ishlarini qilgiz kelmaydi. Ich-ichizdan qiziqishiz so'nadi. Ayniqsa buni ta'mini self-study qilishga urinib ko'rganlar yaxshi tushinadi, shundaymasmi?
Bir paytlarda Ingliz tilini o'rganishni endi boshlaganimda mendayam bo'lgan bunday narsa.
Lekin baribir, bilasiz Ingliz tilini yaxshi o'rganvolsayiz sizni yaxshi ish kutib turibdi. Bilasiz Ingliz tili sertifikatiz bo'lsa chet elda bemalol o'qiy olasiz va Ingliz tilini bilish sizni xayotizni, kelajagizni anchagina o'zgartiradi.
Shunday ekan, Ingliz tili sizni rivojlantirishini bilsayiz, ustoziz bergan vazifalarni xohlamasayizam, ichizdan qiziqish bo'lmasayam, charchagan bo'lsayizam bajaring. O'zizni majburlang!
O'sha siz taniydigan IELTS 8.5/9.0 olgan mashhur ustozlar Ingliz tilini o'zi qiziqib o'rgangan deb o'yleslarmi?
Yo'q. Ularda shunchaki intizom kuchli bo'lgan. Intizomli insonlar nimadur o'rganishni boshladimi, qancha band bo'lsa ham, xohlamasa ham, zerikib ketsa ham, charchasa ham o'zini majburlab o'qiydi, o'rganadi
Shaxsan menda ham boshida Ingliz tilini o'rganishga kuchli xohish, intilish, qiziqish bo'magan. Men shunchaki men buni qilishim kerak chunki ertaga menga aniq foydasi tegadi deganman va o'qiganman.
P.s: Tanani his-tuyg'ularmas miyya boshqarsa to'g'riroq qarorlar qabul qilasiz.

The growth of consumerism has improved people’s lives in many ways.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
_______________________________________________________________________
Many people believe that the unprecedented rise of consumerism has enhanced people’s lives in various ways. Although consumerism has contributed to economic growth and improved living standards, I believe its potential drawbacks - such as the environmental degradation and rise of poverty - have become increasingly serious concerns.
Consumerism can be a key contributor to economic growth. As people excessively purchase products, machinery, and gadgets, they are likely to spend a significant amount of money on these items. This overspending can lead to economic growth in many developing countries, meaning that citizens in that country might enjoy a more prosperous standard of living. The more people buy irrational products, the faster the economy grows. For example, in countries like China, consumerism plays a paramount role in transforming the economy. Had it not been for consumerism, many countries would still be developing.
Another significant benefit of consumerism is the enhancement of the standard of living. When people spend an increasing amount of money on products, they are more likely to make active use of these products for daily convenience. Not only does this provide people with comfort, but it also ensures a more efficient and modern way of life. Using machinery can be the pertinent example. Instead of washing clothes by hand, people can now invest in washing machines to do the same task, saving time and energy. Thus, consumerism can be beneficial for improving living standards.
Despite the arguments mentioned above, I remain convinced that the rise of consumerism has predominantly negative impacts on people and society as a whole. Consumerism can take its toll on the environment. In other words, the more people buy and make use of different products, they might have greater risk of producing negative externalities. For instance, a teenager can buy a brand-new iphone and stop using the old one which may lead to the growing problem of electronic waste. These discarded devices can take hundreds of years to decay and continue harming the ecosystem, if not properly managed.
In addition to environmental risks, consumerism can contribute to worsening poverty. With many people purchasing non-essential items such as electronics and household gadgets, people may suffer from poverty, as there may be insufficient amounts of money to spend on basic needs such as health and education. For example, in India, poverty rates remain high and consumerism is exacerbating this issue, placing financial strain on thousands, if not millions of people.
In conclusion, even though consumerism boosts the economy and enhances living standards, I believe that it is mainly an undesirable development due to its harmful impact on the environment and negative contribution to poverty.

Human activity is causing damage to the environment at an alarming rate.
What are the causes of this?
What can individuals and governments do to reduce this damage?
🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳
The unprecedented influence of human actions is taking its toll on the environment. The major causes of this trend lie in deforestation and the excessive use of private cars. There are effective solutions to this problem such as planting more trees and reduced paper usage along with increased reliance on electronic vehicles.
One root cause of environmental damage is deforestation. As many individuals cut trees for commercial purposes, such as selling trees, making paper out of it, and for construction materials, numerous native animal species are becoming homeless, leading to the loss of biodiversity. For example, The Amazon Rainforest - one of the largest forests worldwide and home to thousands of animals - can be a good case in point. Approximately 80% of plant and land animals live in this forest and around 10 million hectares of trees are cut annually, which may have a devastating impact on both animals and their habitat, resulting in the extinction of most rare animal species which are on the verge of disappearing. Therefore, it is important for those who cut trees to carefully consider the environmental consequences beforehand.
Another important, yet less noticeable, cause of environmental damage is the use of private cars. Since millions of individuals around the world drive their private cars for commuting, they are contributing significantly to environmental harm. This is mainly because petrol-powered cars release CO2 emissions into the air, which trap heat in the atmosphere, increasing the risk of global warming. Interestingly, the highest CO2 levels ever recorded were in urban areas, where people frequently drive to their workplaces, exacerbating the environment degradation.
That being said, there are effective measures that should be taken into account. One solution would be planting more trees. By doing so, we can not only increase oxygen levels, but we can also tackle the problem of deforestation. Uzbekistan - my country - serves as a pertinent example. The government has launched many conservation initiatives in order to deal with deforestation and improve air quality by planting thousands, if not millions, of new trees in valleys, solving the problem of deforestation.
Encouraging the use of electric vehicles instead of private cars could be one of the most effective solutions. As electric cars are considered zero-emission vehicles, their widespread use can significantly improve the air quality and the environment as a whole. Tesla - an electric car company - can be the prime example. These cars do not produce direct harm to the environment, and millions of people are buying these cars because of their benefits to the environment. Were it not for the electric vehicles, many countries around the world might have been facing problems with breathing.
In conclusion, while deforestation and the excessive use of private cars are among the main causes of environmental damage caused by humans, planting more trees and promoting the use of electric cars could be one of the most effective measures.
