🚴♂️Describe an activity that benefits for your health
• What activity is it?
Generally, I am not leading a healthy lifestyle these days, because I do not do much physical exercise and not pay attention to a healthy diet. However, there is one activity that benefits my health to a certain degree which is cycling. I go for a ride or twice a week, especially at the weekends around the countryside.
• When and why did you started doing it?
If I talk about the time I started this activity, it was two years ago, I believe. Back then, I read an article about health benefits of cycling and how it could improve my physical situation, and it encouraged me to start this activity. I used to go for cycling every other day, but because of my tight schedule, I now have to do this activity less.
• How difficult the activity is?
Although cycling is not something really challenging, it becomes difficult when you ride for long distances, say 10 or more kilometers. Also, I sometimes find it hard to ride my bike due to being exhausted throughout the week. But, for the most part, it is not an uphill struggle.
• Why it is beneficial for your health?
Well, I think it is obvious my cycling is necessary for our health. This is because it makes us more active, involving physical movements through our body and helping us to keep fit, in turn. Research shows that cycling is an essential activity to burn calories and improve cardiovascular aspects of our health.
