Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to request assistance with my insurance claim regarding a necklace that I recently lost during my holiday. The item is of great sentimental and monetary value, and I hope to resolve this matter promptly through my travel insurance policy.

The necklace I lost was a delicate gold chain with a small diamond pendant, which I had worn on the day of the incident. It was a gift from my family, and I wore it regularly throughout my trip. Unfortunately, while visiting a very crowded market in Paris on August 8, I realized that the necklace was no longer around my neck. I suspect it may have either been accidentally dislodged or stolen amidst the crowd, as the market was quite busy and bustling with people.
