You have been offered a job, asking you to start next week. You want the job very much, but because of a previous commitment, you want to delay the start for another two weeks.

Write to the manager:
• Accepting the job
• Explain your situation
• Asking for the change to start your date.

Dear Sir or Madam,

The reason behind this letter is that I want to explain the condition I am in and ask for a later commencement my working process in you company.

Yesterday, I received an e-mail from your company, Coca-Cola, to be a part of the team as a Graphic Designer for SMM. I have been working for quite a while in a relatively small company so far, and being offered a job from a globally-renowned company has obviously been very appealing. I would love to join Coca-Cola staff and contribute its improvement.

However, I signed a contract with my current workplace for a year, and the expiry date is due to end on 10th of October – two weeks later. What is more, I also gave a start to a new project here, which should be completed under my control, making me accountable for more than 10 days.

Considering these factors, I am now attached to my current company, and I would kindly ask you to give me some time, two weeks to be exact, to start working in your company. Leaving all these responsibilities behind would be an illegal and unfair approach to the organization I am hired.

Taking all these into account, I hope you will allow me to join your team after 10th of October. I believe, with my expertise and skills in Social Media Marketing, I can contribute a lot to the flourishment of your company.

🟢a bit difficult actually. There are constant attention grabbing distractions around me including background sounds or consversation of others. These may make it hard me to focus on what I am trying to concentrate on .

🟢First thing I do is tuning out background distractions. This is very crucial. Actually, in general, I try to follow a healthy sleeping schedule in order that I can feel energetic enough.
