The pie charts provide a breakdown of the percentage of different sectors that consumed electricity in Eastern Australia in two years: 2007 and 2010.

Overall, residential and commercial sectors required the most electricity use among the other fields in both years. It is also evident that out of eight sectors, only three of them – aluminum, manufacturing and other metals – witnessed changes in their percentages between the years.

In 2007, around a quarter of electricity consumption belonged to residential and commercial uses, at 28% and 23% respectively, while only a mere 1% of electricity was utilized by transport and agriculture sectors. Manufacturing, aluminum and other metals consumed almost similar percentages of electricity, either 13% or 12%, but the figures for mining industry accounted for 9%.

In three years, the overall pattern of electricity usage did not change a lot. The most and the least significant figures – that of residential, commercial, agriculture, transport and mining sectors – had remained the same by 2010. However, there was a decline in the percentage of electricity consumption by aluminum industry by 2%, but a but more marked fall was the case in manufacturing sector by four percentage points. This was mirrored in the total electricity usage, with the sector of other unmentioned metals increasing significantly from 12% to 18%.

The pictures describe how olive oil is produced. Overall, there are four key stages in this process: collecting, pressing, separating and finally delivering the ready product, with seven separated steps. This process also requires human labor as well as sophisticated machine use.

In the first step, olive fruits are picked manually from trees and put into baskets. After this, they are rinsed in cold water, and having been cleaned, the fruits are then belted and smashed with the use different machines. As a result, olive paste and olive stones are extracted, with the former continuing to be used in the following stages.

The olive paste is packaged into bags with holes that probably allow air circulation. The bags are pressed in a special container, and the next step is when oil and water are separated from the product. Finally, these two ready product items are sent to storages and shops for sale.
