on April 18, 2026 Kelpdao was hacked for approximately 292m USD
attackers exploited a vulnerability in Kelpdao’s Layerzero bridge which created a massive debt on Aave.

in an attempt to rescue lost/h4cked funds, the DeFi United was launched to recover exploited funds & stabilize the ecosystem
protocols, foundations & individuals (you & i) are pooling funds together to help recover exploited funds

the donation portal shows that they’ve raised $234m but the onchain shows that they’ve only received $800k.
