6 RULES OF WRITING COLD EMAILS THAT GET REPLIES โก๏ธ โจ
Rule 1:
Follow this formula:
PITC
Personalise
Introduce
Trust
CTA
Personalize the email right from the beginning
Whether it is a subject line, first name, personalized lines
Include random weird but specific things
The goal is to make sure the receiver knows that the email was sent only to them
Then give a small intro
With a credibility/authority generating punchy line
This could be a case study Or name-dropping a big client you worked with previously Or any BIG results you have got
The trust factor should arise from your intro itself If it doesn't You failed at introducing yourself
Next, have a frictionless CTA
Don't ask them to pay you $2,000 In dream case situations, the reader should be able to go through your email
Think about it AND REPLY TO YOUR CTA all within 100 seconds remember this the next time you ask someone something stupid
Rule 2:
No backstory
No context
No fluff
GET STRAIGHT TO THE POINT
If I start telling you how I used to read sci-fi novels for 6 hours everyday for 2.5 straight years and then I was addicted to gaming for 6 hours every day for another 2 years and now I'm addicted to Twitter
