6 RULES OF WRITING COLD EMAILS THAT GET REPLIES โก๏ธ โจ
Rule 1:
Follow this formula:
PITC
Personalise
Introduce
Trust
CTA
Personalize the email right from the beginning
Whether it is a subject line, first name, personalized lines
Include random weird but specific things
The goal is to make sure the receiver knows that the email was sent only to them
Then give a small intro
With a credibility/authority generating punchy line
This could be a case study Or name-dropping a big client you worked with previously Or any BIG results you have got
The trust factor should arise from your intro itself If it doesn't You failed at introducing yourself
Next, have a frictionless CTA
Don't ask them to pay you $2,000 In dream case situations, the reader should be able to go through your email
Think about it AND REPLY TO YOUR CTA all within 100 seconds remember this the next time you ask someone something stupid
Rule 2:
No backstory
No context
No fluff
GET STRAIGHT TO THE POINT
If I start telling you how I used to read sci-fi novels for 6 hours everyday for 2.5 straight years and then I was addicted to gaming for 6 hours every day for another 2 years and now I'm addicted to Twitter
You start losing interest
You want to know about cold emails & not my life SO be straight to the point
Rule 3:
Don't hard sell
Don't sell at all
Instead, make them think
Have you seen that inception movie?
If you plant the idea in your prospect's mind, and they think that it's there own idea
They will take it more seriously since they don't know that you're trying to sell them something
So, try to make it feel like they came up with the idea
That they realized that have a problem that needs to be fixed

USE A SCRIPT OR COLD EMAIL TEMPLATE
TOO BAD
everyone knows it's a script
especially the first line tactic
bro be a little original and move that personalized line in the middle of the email
or even add a PS at the end and write it there
The goal is to not let the reader think, even for a millisecond that it's a template copy-paste email
This article I am writing is currently at 383 words
Now, since some of you know me, you would be reading till now
But cold emails are COLD
your prospects are busy (unless you're targeting broke bois)
And they don't have time to read long emails
MAX 4 PARAGRAPHS
Max 2 lines in each paragraph
Respect everyone's time
