Neutrality in Europe - one term, different models
In the modern world, neutrality is of particular value both for states striving to preserve it and for states in need of strengthening it.
As the Conference showed, lively discussions on the topic of rethinking neutrality are relevant not only in our country, but also in a state that was provided with international guarantees of ETERNAL neutrality more than 200 years ago.
The main and obvious conclusion for Switzerland and Moldova. Neutrality is a sovereign choice advocated and supported by the vast majority of citizens in one country as well as in another.
The book "NEUTRALITY: brief manual" presented at the Conference has not only become relevant, but also answers a number of questions that arise in discussions about rethinking neutrality in the modern world.

How and under what historical conditions did the need for a neutral state policy arise? Why is it beneficial? What are the historical examples of countries that have strengthened their statehood and prosperity by opting for a neutral policy or status of neutrality?
