Despite the unfortunate loss, Sydney United (Croatia) today showed great heart and passion.

More importantly, their supporters were fantastic in showing nationalist symbolism in the biggest soccer cup competition in the country and live on Channel 10.

Displayed many times were Roman Salutes. In the first photo a man performs a Roman Salute as another shows an Ustaše flag. In the fourth photo, an anti-left wing banner is displayed (circled in blue).

The supporters, who took up most of the stadium, booed the (demonic) aboriginal welcome to country before the start of the game. The last two photos show the reaction on Twitter.

Well done, Sydney Croatia 🇦🇺🇭🇷

As well as booing the Welcome to Country, Sydney United fans were also claimed to have disrespected and booed the national anthem. New footage today, however, shows the supporters loudly singing it.

The more interesting point is that this claim was barely mentioned in any news article prior to this footage being released. In an article by ESPN, there is just one sentence which mentions this. Some articles leave this out entirely, while others also very briefly mention it. Instead, all articles exclusively focus on the disrespect to the Aboriginal and Jewish communities.

This shows a clear bias in the Australian media. When an Aboriginal ceremony is disrespected, there is media uproar with calls for bans and arrests. When the national anthem, which is associated closely with White Australians, is disrespected during the same match, it is barely even mentioned.
