Why adoption is prohibited in Islam

In traditional Sunni Islam. Adoption is impermissible because Muhammad abolished adoption. The question we need ask is why on earth did Muhammad abolished adoption?

“Behold! Thou didst say to one who had received the grace of Allah and thy favour: "Retain thou (in wedlock) thy wife, and fear Allah." But thou didst hide in thy heart that which Allah was about to make manifest: thou didst fear the people, but it is more fitting that thou shouldst fear Allah. Then when Zaid had dissolved (his marriage) with her, with the necessary (formality), We joined her in marriage to thee: in order that (in future) there may be no difficulty to the Believers in (the matter of) marriage with the wives of their adopted sons, when the latter have dissolved with the necessary (formality) (their marriage) with them. And Allah's command must be fulfilled. Surah 33:37”

According to History of Al-Tabari. This verse is the story of Muhammad marrying Zainab, the wife of Muhammad's adopted son because he lusted for her. This caused Zayed his adopted son to divorce her so he would be able to have sex with his daughter in law and marry her then defile her. After this incident people were stunned and insulted Muhammad for marrying his adopted son's daughter. Then Muhammad received a ‘revelation’ and abolished adoption and said he's not my son and don't call your adopted children your sons or daughters.

Spanish settlers arrived in what is now St. Augustine on September 8, 1565. Their first act on arriving was to hold a Mass in a “Thanksgiving” to God, for the the safe travel they had endured. After the Mass, Fr. Francisco Lopez, a chaplain of the Spanish fleet and the first pastor of St. Augustine, stipulated that the natives from the Timuca tribe be fed along with the the Spanish settlers, making this the first Thanksgiving meal in the New World.

The Spanish Empire then after went on to Conquer much of the Americas with many natives converting. And the birth of La Raza Hispana under One Holy Catholic Apostolic Church.

According to Justine Martyr, God commanded circumcision on the Jews as punishment for their sins. In Traditional Sunni, circumcision is obligatory. Makes me wonder if God arranged for circumcision to be a practice in Islam as a punishment for Muhammad, his followers, and their future children.
