What the word does in wood, anxiety does to the spiritual life. It has been employed too successfully by the devil to draw men into his snares, especially those that aspire to perfection.

Ecumenism is damaging to the Christian faith itself, not just to any certain denomination. It can be seen as a huge problem among the Protestant Churches, Orthodox Church, and the Catholic Church. It is one of Satan’s favourite tools for a reason - because it leads more and more souls to hell and more people espousing heresy, modernism, religious indifferentism, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, religious unity, etc. What we see with ‘World Orthodoxy’ is the exact same thing as what the Modern Catholic Church today represents. Both false sects of the Orthodox faith, and Catholic faith. Death to Ecumenism. There is absolutely no need for us to dialogue with the enemies of God in an ecclesiastical setting. Trying to bring demon worshippers and non-Catholics into the Church and make compromises with them is not Christian.
