Forwarded from Praying for You
As we know, there is a large community of believers on telegram. We often list our petitions and ask one another to pray for them. Let us all come together as a community and fast on Friday, October 8th for all our petitions. The type of fasting that you wish to complete can be up to you. Please share with your fellow christians and in your channels. As a large group, we can fast and pray for all of our intentions!

Online Trad Catholics love to rant about the evils of "race idolatry."

They claim that any opposition to miscegenation is "idolatrous" (i.e., akin to worshipping race as if it were a god) and, therefore, any desire to preserve your racial or ethnic ethnic group is inherently "sinful."

The origin of the term "race idolatry" is Pope Pius XI's encyclical 'Mit brennender Sorge', published in 1937. The TL;DR is as follows:

Pius did complain about NSDAP paganism and warned against 'race worship' (which he later realized that the NSDAP were not engaging in).

However, he stated that race was a fundamental, honorable, and *necessary* value of human society, and claimed that the Church had contributed to maintaining Germany's "racial purity."

Pope Pius did not oppose the concept of nationalism and at no point did he declare that opposing miscegenation is "sinful."

Online Trad Caths screeching "RACE IDOLATRY" are bastardizing the words of the Pope to justify their own perverse fetishes.
Sadly these aren’t explicit prohibitions but rather implicit recommendations to not marry outside your own race. Except for Tobit of course. However, since Tobit is not a part of the biblical canon, what it says is not binding on the faithful. The verses against race mixing in Ezra are also just recommendations to not marry outside your own. This speaks to the fact that God saw race mixing as atrocious, which can also be interpreted as God saying race mixing is sinful. Since the Church hasn’t said it’s sinful, I can’t tell you whether it is or isn’t. But what I can tell you is that whatever God implicitly condemns is usually considered as sinful. Nevertheless, the Church hasn’t officially made a statement regarding whether it’s sinful or not and what the meaning of these verses are. So again, I can’t say for sure whether it is or isn’t. But usually if God implicitly shows disgrace of something, we consider it as sinful.

Because the Church hasn’t officially said anything regarding what the correct interpretation of these verses are, or explicitly condemned miscegenation (according to my own knowledge of the matter), interracial marriages are still allowed to go ahead. But most Traditional Priests don’t recommend it. It’s just a toleration.
I’m pretty sure you’re allowed to view it as sinful for that reason too. Just like how people viewed the Immaculate Conception as incorrect prior to it being pronounced as a dogma and as a biblically sound doctrine.
If someone could find me a traditional priest who holds miscegenation to be sinful as well that’d be great. I’ll also ask my priests opinion on this too and report my findings back to here

🇨🇵✝️ FRENCH SOLDIERS SINGING THE PARATROOPER PRAYER

👼🏼 Today is Saint Michael's Day. A special day for Christians, who honor the eponymous archangel, head of the divine legions.

👍🏻 But it is also a special day for French soldiers and especially paratroopers.
Saint-Michel is considered the commander and patron saint of French paratroopers, it is he who brings them victory in the war.

🙏🏻 Today, all French paratroopers therefore pay tribute to Saint Michel.

🎥 That is why we shared this video of soldiers singing the prayer of the paratroopers.

📌 So that you too can ask Saint Michel for help in times of adversity.

☀️ Et par Saint Michel, vive les Paras.
(In the name of Saint Michael, hail to the paratroopers!)

Going off on an atheist/pagan for stating that Christianity "failed to protect the West".

If Christianity was "too weak" to protect the West, what does that say about all the alternative ideas and religions that Christianity triumphed over for the last 1500 years?
