Daily reminder there's an indulgence granted to whoever piously reads the bible daily for a least half an hour, provided the necessary conditions (confession, communion, hate for all sin) are met.

15 promises of Mary about the rosary
-Whoever shall faithfully serve me by recitation of the Rosary, shall recieve signal graces.
-A promise of special protection and the greatest graces to all who recite the rosary.
-The rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.
-It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the heart of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things.
-The soul which recommends itself to me by recitation of the Rosary shall not perish.
-Whoever shall have a true devotion for the rosary shall not die without the sacraments of the Church.
-Those who are faithful to recite the rosary shall have, during their life and their death, the light of God and plenitude of His graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in the merits of the saints in paradise.
-I shall deliver from purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.
-The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in heaven.
-You shall obtain all you ask of me by recitation of the Rosary.
-All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.
-I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court. during their life and at the hour of death.
-All those who recite the Rosary are my sons, and the brother of my only Son Jesus Christ.
-Devotion of my rosary is a great sign of predestination.

Imagine what could happen if every Catholic worth his or her salt began laying seeds to convert at least one non-Catholic friend, family member, or acquaintance this year. Five very useful booklets to help with that process: 1) A Catechism of Christian Doctrine 2) A Simple Prayer Book 3) Pray the Rosary 4) The Order of Mass in Latin and English 5) New Mass or Traditional Mass; A Question of Faith Plus lots of good books on social teaching and social affairs to attract socially and politically-minded people towards Christianity and the Moral Order. Let's get to work, and bring people to the Faith.

When Saint Louis found himself taken hostage by the Egyptian sultan, he promised a sum of money and goods for his ransom.
– It's a lie! — one of the sultan's courtiers cried out
– Silence! — the sultan rebuked his courtier — a Christian never lies.
This was our fame back then. How far astray have we gone...

“Our glory is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity of heart and sincerity of God, and not in carnal wisdom, but in the grace of God, we have conversed in this world; and more abundantly towards you.” -2 Corinthians 1:12
Unless we preserve either our baptismal grace, or by true penance again renounce the devil, return to the service of God, and preserve in it till the end of our life, we cannot possibly live well. Rather we will be delivered to a miserable death.
But God sees all things, and He will not be mocked. He that desires to live well and die well, let him enter into the chamber of his heart, and not decide himself. Let him seriously attentively consider over and over again whether he is in love with the sins of this world, which are the work of the devil; and whether he gives them a place in his heart, his words, and actions.

Smite him on the face; strike his mouth; sanctify your hand with the blow, and if any should accuse you, and drag you to the place of justice, follow them there; and when the judge on the bench calls you to account, say boldly that the man blasphemed the King of angels!

Why is Mexico back on the Anti Christian persecution index? 🇲🇽
“Mainly because of organized crime. Those who preach hope and faith in Jesus in the face of violence and drug trafficking are seen as an obstacle to criminals. Therefore they are targeted by gangs”

“Men are often called intelligent wrongly. Intelligent men are not those who are erudite in the sayings and books of the wise men of old, but those who have an intelligent soul and can discriminate between good and evil. They avoid what is sinful and harms the soul; and with deep gratitude to God they resolutely adhere by dint of practice to what is good and benefits the soul. These men alone should truly be called intelligent.” + St. Anthony the Great
