You're not Christians, because you reject the church built by Christ on the rock of St. Peter. To Peter he gave the keys to the kingdom of heaven and against the church the gates of hell will not prevail. That church founded by Christ, on the rock of St. Peter is, the pillar and foundation of the truth. You are NOT saved by faith alone, except in the sense of initial justification because there are no works that we could do to save ourselves. If you refuse to do the works God calls you to, you are not saved.

Oh, and without a church to define a scriptural cannon, you have pretty much zero argument against a Mormon or a Gnostic who have additional books. You furthermore have nothing but copes to explain why it was acceptable to take the deuterocannon out of the Bible.

Just because they claim to worship The God of Abraham (Jesus Christ), doesn’t mean they actually worship the One True God. Jews claim this, but in John 8:44, it is clear that they worship the devil. Also, JPII does teach that they can save and are true religions in a sense. The proof? Right here, in the Catechism.

The Arians didn’t worship God either. If Arians and Muslims worship God, then God is not Triune and Jesus Christ is not the second person of it. Heretics don’t have the gift of faith, and without the gift of faith, how are you going to worship God? Without Jesus Christ, the Godhead isn’t a Godhead at all. Saying we worship the same God as Muslims is Modernism, blasphemy and a statement of apostasy since it is an omission of God being a singular divine person. It also shows that you don’t even have a basic understanding of Trinitarian theology. Which is to be expected since you think the Holy Ghost was present at Vatican 2; and that Christ isn’t actually the second person of the trinity. The latter of course being without you knowing that this is in essence what you are saying. Btw, your council says the exact same thing as JPII does, who knew! 😂

If all religions worship the true God by simply claiming to be doing so, then one could not violate the 1st Commandment since all worship of any “god” would be tantamount to worshiping the true "God" according to the post the modernist element in the hierarchy, yet this would not only render the 1st Commandment obsolete but make it seem as though God had given us an absurd command. God does not command anything in vain.
