I understand people want to pray the Divine Mercy chaplet out of good intention. I've personally been stumbling upon if it's a good devotion or not, but due to the nature of it's history, and being banned 3 times, it is best that people avoid this devotion and just pray the rosary, or give a novena to a Saint.

It is much more beneficial and in the end, you aren't taking a risk of the Divine Novena chaplet/novena turns out to be a damnation in disguise. Praying the rosary every day and praying for the intentions of others bears good fruit, there is no need to go to the extent of a condemned novena. We are warned about false teachings in the Bible, and I believe this serves as a good example. It is too problematic to pray or consider this 'devotion'; although done with good intent, it should be avoided as if it were a plague.

Don’t pray the Divine Mercy, it comes from condemned apparitions.

Most of the prayers in DM itself were plagiarised from an earlier devotion, that of the Holy Wounds.

Just pray the Sacred Heart Rosary instead.
