Yesterday, a sad new has come to my knowledge and the father of a person I appreciate deeply passed away. I want to make this comment to implore you, my Maidens, to pray and fast for the soul of this man and the souls of those ones defeated by this worldwide pandemic.
For this I will share you the prayer of St. Gertrude the Great, Saint patron of the dead.Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen.

⛪ HAPPY EASTER 🔔
🐇 On this special time, we want to wish you all a blessed and holy year.
👦🏼 To celebrate, we wanted to share with you a beautiful French song, here sung at torchlights by French patriots from La Flèche.
🗣️ "Media Vita" is probably France's oldest song. It was written by a priest near Tours in the years 200s (3td Century) for Easter. It was then forgotten, but re-discovered again in the IXth century by the monks of Solesmes Abbey.
🔥 Since this date, it is sing as a song to celebrate life, death, resurrection. Lyrics and translation here.
☀️ In this time of struggle and troubles, may this song light the flame in your hearts. Remember that life will always prevail. Keep faith and hope in the future.
🇨🇵 Never despair.

There should be more Scotist philosophers than there are currently. There needs to be a wider range of philosophical and theological diversity in the Church to compensate for different viewpoints/kinds of argumentation on certain metaphysical and moral issues. I say this so that one doesn’t get the idea that Thomism is the ONLY school the Church permits.
It’s a school of thought that is certainly a minority in the Church. However, it still ought to be analysed and philosophised more since Scotus is in fact beatified and does not get as much attention or credit for his ideas and contributions to Catholic philosophy as he deserves.
People shouldn’t just restrict themselves to Thomism, although it’s much more developed and popular in comparison to Scotism. The Church has always said the same thing.
