Pray that Francis explains himself on this point in an official magisterial document. Too much confusion.
I have yet to see a compelling theological argument for Mary as co-redemptrix that holds up. Feel free to show me your arguments though, I’d love to hear them.
Yes, most Catholics do believe this. But I simply cannot hold to such a doctrine in good faith whilst knowing what the church teaches about the redemption.
What I can know in good faith is that this doctrine will never become dogmatic since the Holy Ghost would never allow a Pope to infallibly declare such a thing. This being simply because of divine intervention.
This is going to be like the Immaculate Conception conflict between Dominicans and Franciscans all over again soon enough.

St. Dominic confronts demons with the #Rosary
St. Alphonsus recalls the story of a demon-possessed man who misled the people by his false religious teaching. When he confronted St. Dominic, he was liberated from the evil spirits by the power of the Rosary.
The Rosary is a powerful weapon against the demons.
St. Dominic was once preaching in the town of Carcassone in France. A heretic there, who had publicly ridiculed the devotion of the Rosary and was possessed by demons, was brought to him. The saint demanded that the evil spirits declare publicly whether the things that Dominic had preached about the most holy Rosary were true.
Howling, they replied, “Listen, Christians! All that this enemy of ours has said about Mary, and about the most holy Rosary, is true.” They also said that they had no power against the servants of Mary; and that many, by invoking in death the name of Mary, were saved, despite what they might otherwise have deserved.
The demons concluded: “We are forced to declare that no one is lost who perseveres in devotion to Mary and in devotion to the most holy Rosary. For Mary obtains for those who are sinners true repentance before they die.”
St. Dominic then made the people recite the Rosary. And what a miracle took place! At every Hail Mary, many evil spirits left the body of the possessed man, appearing like red-hot coals as they went out. When the Rosary was fin- ished, he was entirely freed. On this occasion, many heretics were converted.

Tfw the Order of Preachers (O.P.) don’t actually go out and publicly preach anymore with tonsure haircuts and a heroic zeal for God and the Church 😞
True devotion to Mary is necessary, calling her co-redemptrix isn’t.

Today is Gregory Palamas’ feast day for the Orthodox. Today us Catholics celebrate the fact that he is burning in hell next to all the other heretics and schismatics.
Mr. “the uncreated energies of God are not to be identified with the divine essence” is burning in hell. Hallelujah!

We will never be free of trials and temptations as long as our earthly life lasts. Therefore, we should always be on our guard against temptations, always praying that our enemy, the devil, “who never sleeps but constantly looks for someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8), will not catch us off guard. No one in this world is so perfect or holy as not to have temptations. We can never be entirely free from them. Sometimes these temptations can be very severe and troublesome, but if we resist them, they will be very useful for our souls. By experiencing these temptations, we are humbled, cleansed, and instructed. All the Saints endured tribulations and temptations and profited by them.
Through temptations and trials or spiritual progress is tested. God permits this to keep us humble so that we will not trust in ourselves but we can see how easily we are overcome without God.

Listen to sermons and read good books if you feel as if after confession you remember past sins in which you did not hide in confession but remembered say, after receiving Holy Communion.
This is something I have noticed greatly. If you do not examine your conscience well before confession and during daily prayer then you will be sure to miss something. I’m sure I am not the only one who this has happened too, but in order for it not to recur ask the Saints and the Holt Family to enlighten you and give you wisdom.
The devil hates it when you remember these things and gain newfound knowledge, as it makes it harder for him to get a grip on your soul and mind.

Once you remember them, add it to a list so you do not forget in preparation for confession.
